The best restaurants serving Chinese food in South West

When I order a Chinese I never eat all of it and leave it til the next day when I don't eat it then either. But this was so delicious I ate every single mouthful, it was so tasty 😋

Had the Yeung Chow fried rice. Authentic aroma & taste, and good portion size. Favourably compares to experiences in Singapore years ago. Well done!

The food was absolutely awful. The dishes were super salty and just didn’t taste like any Chinese we have had before even the prawn crackers didn’t taste right. The egg fried rice wasn’t fried just boiled rice combined with egg, noodles were super salty and the homemade sweet and sour - I’m not sure I can even describe it - it was rank with a strong taste of brown sauce. It now 2:45am and I’m suffering from stomach cramps following being unwell - AVOID! Also an update on the costs £17.50 per adult and £10 for children - definitely not worth it.

Nos encanta este lugar como una familia. Para nosotros, sus salsas Sweet & Sour y Curry son las mejores. A nuestros hijos les encanta el pollo en el Sweet & Sour Chicken ya que es un rebozado ligero y más como bocados de pollo. Las galletas de langostinos siempre están ahí. Sería increíble si hubiera un puñado de fichas extra en sus porciones. Nuestros otros platos habituales son pollo Chow Mein, pollo chile crujiente, curry de ternera y pollo Szechuan. Solo hemos tenido una experiencia no tan buena en unas 30 visitas.

Very nice food but I thought compared with other take aways it was a tad expensive . Having said that the food was good and hot and the service quick.

Missed a meal from our delivery and refused to bring out the missing meal, stated that they were too busy. Staff were rude and unhelpful! They have lost my custom!!

We ordered a delivery from here and I have to say that it was the best Chinese food that we'd had in a long time. Thankyou so much for a delicious meal!

Use to go here 15 years ago and the staff was so rude and the food went downhill. Now under new management, lovely clean open kitchen and food was amazing. Will be back for sure. Food was hottest I ever got a Chinese home, sign of a good chef. Highly recommended

Take away or delivery. We collected was friendly and quick service. Tastes amazing, had various dishes for all the family. From chicken, beef to tofu, rice, noodles. Gluten free, dairy free options available, make sure you check as some dishes can be made special. We all love different dishes. Nice treat for us in the winter months. Still good prices would say its great value for money take away.

Nice little takeaway. We had crispy prawns, wontons, satay chicken, egg fried rice and sea weed. All very tasty. We gave 4 as it’s not as good as our takeaway back home in bristol in terms of flavour, but the portions were very generous. Well worth a visit.

Have used these a lot no problem. Last nite the food was disgustingly bad I have noticed a decline in food quality buy cheap sell high they have finally got into the groove. Gone from good value food to inferior quality and high price … back to the food. The chicken was in big chewable clumps. Totally hard and very chewable lovely . Doesn’t even look like chicken. We threw it all away. Disgusting. Had it delivered as well. £30. Used to be not so long ago cheaper. Don’t use them. I will never buy a meal from them again. They are very nice people likeable but there food has gone down hill big time Wish I could get my money back . Had marmite on toast instead. Was nice. Good to have a back up.

Having read the previous “suspiciously worded”reviews about the Golden Phoenix I have never had a problem with waiting times or the quality of the food. The previous review may have been google translated to max 😉 I have been a regular customer for three years.The food is fresh hot and very tasty. The menu is widely varied and the owners freely promote new dishes on the menu.. Tried the others in area with disappointing results. Unfortunately they don’t take cards and that in the current climate needs to change ASAP!

I am extremely disappointed with the service and the food received tonight. The order (which was ordered later than rush time) took over an hour and a half to arrive. An hour in we called to ask if the delivery had left, the response was the foods cooked its just on the side waiting for a driver. 35 minutes later! Baring in mind we are a 10 minute drive away. The food turned up.....surprise surprise cold, and under cooked!!! We did not refuse the takeaway given the time taken out of the evening to place the order, chase up and recieve it. Our daughters waited along time for the treat of their choice, we don't order very often. We weren't gona put them through waiting longer for a different choice of dinner or sending it back to await a possible second disaster.... we will not be ordering from li's again. We will not recommend to anyone! And continue to share the bad experience.
