The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Eastbourne South East

Visité a mi madre y nos sirvieron las más deliciosas albóndigas asiáticas auténticas y rellenas. Los sabores eran delicados y los ingredientes naturales. Este no es un tipo de café "todo lo que puedas comer" y creo que recibiría una crítica brillante de un crítico de comida sobre la fuerza de la cocina y el ambiente. En la actualidad es una experiencia gastronómica bastante tranquila y pacífica, pero envío esta opinión porque quiero que otras personas disfruten y aprecien a Okalla.

I popped in one lunchtime for six portions of Singapore noodles to takeaway for my freezer. I also asked for two portions of satay sauce. I was charged £55 and when I asked why it was so much more expensive than the restaurant menu price I was told "bigger portions". The single person portions came in standard takeaway foil containers with cardboard lids and the satay sauce amounted to just a couple of teaspoon measures languishing at the bottom of a styrofoam cup. I've eaten Singapore noodles in this restaurant on several occasions and the portion sizes were no different to those in the foil containers. I have no complaints about the quality of the food, only the lack of transparency when it comes to how much the customer will be charged for it. If you're going to charge takeaway customers more than you charge diners sitting in your restaurant, for whatever reason, at least be upfront about it and have a takeaway menu showing the prices you will charge, instead of asking for what you think you can get away with. I won't be going back.

I am having to unfortunately delete my old review and post a new one. For the third time last evening (27 Oct evening 7/730pm) I visited this place this time with my friends. The initial 2 times,I have visited alone and there was a different server (female) and she was lovely. The female server/restaurant manager last evening was ridiculously rude and downright racist. One can be having a bad day but in her case she was consistently mean. I am happy to discuss this further when and if someone responds as I don't think the details require a public audience. But if you are in hospitality, the literal lease you could do is smile and respond. The food was great as usual, the portion size still a wee bit of a problem.

Everything was tasty but the beef with ginger and spring onion was a bit tough. Thank you for the free prawn crackers

I ordered a delivery and My curry turned up cold, I called the restaurant to inform them and they were extremely rude and said it can’t be cold and refused to exchange. When I repeated that it was stone cold not even warm I was told I’m lying because it can’t be cold. Will never order from here again

Excellent takeaway last night. Delivery was spot on time, good for a Friday. Friendly staff and best food for a long time. Highly recommended.

I live in hailsham and all ways come here for the food it good food and time I get back yo hailsham it still hot all ways used it for many years when living in hampden Park I don't have any other all ways use this place never had a problem friendly staff as well never got a order wrong

Terrible food . We had a takeaway while staying at pevensey bay holiday park for the weekend (we live in Eastbourne ) and decided to go for the local Chinese instead of our usual. Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews until after we paid £46 for 2 people . Everything tasted the same . All EXTREMELY sweet. Honestly had better microwave meals . The cubes of meat are like little cubes straight from a factory freezer . Curry and Kung Po sauce just taste of sugar. Sweet and sour chicken balls are small, soggy, and greasy The shredded chilli beef … forget it! There’s no beef in it . Just pieces of batter covered in sugar . No sauce ! Please don’t waste your money on this place .

This has to be the absolute worst chinese in Eastbourne. We ordered a takeaway over £70 and it was bland and absolutely full of salt and sugar.

On 9th/10/24, 2020, went to buy food, but this man could not allow me to speak or look at the menu, he was like go to next door, that's where cheap food is, that his too busy and short of staff, I asked him can I look at the menu he insisted he gas lots of orders and he has to go, I should just tell him what I want or he goes, eventually I has to say asimple food, because I jeered to eat some thing, very rude, and has no customer care

Ordered tonight and the whole order just tasted stale even down to the fortune cookies. Salt and pepper chilli chips had literally no seasoning on them at all and was just soggy. Everything just tasted re-heated and like it had been sat there for however long, won't be ordering again.

From the charming young lady on the phone to the driver who was early and super polite to the chef who made the BEST, tastiest, freshest meal we have had as long as I can remember. Our go to Chinese (we have tried many many in SE London, but tonight was especially delicious, I didn't even really fancy Chinese tonight but it was sooooo tasty I had to go back for seconds. FYI we had Crispy Chilly Beef, sweet and sour chicken (the pineapple tasted so fresh!), chicken chow main (loads of chicken and loads of my fav nice veg), chicken and cashew nuts (beautiful).
