Worst Chinese food I have ever had and tried a few in eastbourne. Was tried and couldn’t be asked to drive to my normal place. The food hadn’t been in a wok at all. Plain and tasteless. If I could give it 0 star i would

Just had my first order and it was a great price (about £3 cheaper than average for 2 dishes) and tasted great. I couldn't finish the Special fried rice or ribs as it was too much....crazy good value! Well Done.

Been in Eastbourne all my life and this is the only Chinese take Away that I will EVER go to. If you ask for a different version of the menu they always accommodate. Polite service on the phone. Brilliant service for home delivery cannot and will not ever recommend any other Chinese in Eastbourne! 10/5 stars x

We have had tasty wok previously and it was good had a takeaway from tasty wok recently but food was disappointing chicken was very rubbery and quality was bad. Will be getting chinese from another chinese takeaway.

We were looking for somewhere that sold Thai food and found this place All sounded good on the menu however when we sat down to eat the food the Thai curries tasted more like sweet and sour, our spicy shredded chicken was tough and the salt and pepper chicken was bland Shame as we were really looking forward to it

Food was cold, and we ordered a plain chow mein, when we opened the tub it was just some cooked noodles, no.beansprouts or onions, just noodles!! It hadnt been anywhere near a wok!! This place has gone right down hill, would not recommend

In my opinion the best quality Chinese food I have ever had. Great portions and very reasonably priced...

Food came very quickly which was good, most the food was cooked well and was hot. Only issue was the crispy chilli beef, was extremely crispy almost broke my tooth, so much so you couldn’t stick it with a fork and seemed to have very little beef.

Walked in at 5 when opened and ordered a set menu A (chop suey, chicken balls and egg fried rice), 2x chicken balls, 1x egg fried rice, 1x chips, 1x curry sauce. Get home and there’s no chop suey and no egg fried rice. A nice bit of money gone down the drain!

One of the best Chinese take aways in Eastbourne Great portions and friendly staff.Only downside is you can rarely get through on the phone as there so busy, so have to go to the shop.

It used to be great food. They must have changed chef. Everything tasted highly sugared it was inedible. This is the 2nd time it's happened. Most went in the bin. Won't be going back

One of the worst takeaways I've had. I did a walk in order and my food was ready I'm five minutes. My food was obviously reheated and to be honest was not expecting it to be quality food. I had the special chow main. The meat was burnt ,dry and tough, king prawns a little mushy and the noodles were slimey with no flavour. My salt and pepper chicken wings probably tasted nice the day before when they were cooked. I think they had reheated them with the chopped up mush they came with. The 5 chewy coated wings for £5 came in a large container as they come with the tips on. They only except cash and they tie your bag up at the top probably so you don't see what they've served you. Give this place a miss.

Oh my god… this is by far the most delicious Chinese in the whole of Eastbourne. I cannot recommend this Chinese takeaway enough! Thank you Tasty Wok for the yummy food!

I'm surprised this place gets good reviews here when on Trip Advisor there are far more reflecting the experience I had. Their time estimates for food is very optimistic and the quality low. We've ordered from here twice now and have been disappointed both time. We won't try again.

Always had a good Chinese from here. Delivery can be a bit slow sometimes but they are always very busy. The Vietnamese spring rolls are amazing! This is our go to Chinese in Eastbourne!

Whilst visiting family in Eastbourne, we ordered from the not so ‘tasty wok’ half a duck was so dried out it was inedible, crispy squid was rubbery and soggy and the sweet and sour chicken was shameful! Please please look around this is not worth your time and definitely not your money! 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Absolutely incredible. Best Chinese takeout I've had anywhere. Everything was beyond delicious

I don't like writing bad reviews but this place deserves it. We ordered the Seaford platter, ribs, noodles and a main. It arrived and it was barely Lukewarm. The Seaford platter contained no fresh seafood, just a mysterious mush. The ribs were so fatty the oil from them created its own sauce. The mains, were perfectly horrible all batter coated and deep fried. As the cat started to vomit up a spare rib she had tried we rang them. No manager to speak with just a frustrated waitress who had to translate our concerns to an angry chef. He said No refund unless we returned the food ourselves. It was in the bin, but I was prepared to put it back into the containers if they collect it. The £30 we had spent was not enough to scrape the cat vomit off the carpet, so we were left with a very sour taste in our mouths. The only thing edible from the Tasty Wok is the fortune cookie. Buyers beware!!!!!

Ordered and had delivery of the worst chinese in history food was cold inedible and fatty and to the cost of £30 after we complained they said they'd refund if we brought the food back absolutely shocking unacceptable response dont ever order food from them kind regards David Dockery

Tried to place order today for home delivery .. they have now new policy of charging £1 extra to be added automatically to all deliveries... in my opinion this is not acceptable.. so I have cancelled my order and cooked myself ready frozen meal .. I don’t think this right charging for delivery under 3 miles .. so in future I will not bother to order from them

So glad we found this take away, being gluten free it can be challenging but the Tasty Wok are very helpful and offer this option. The foods great and delivery available. Always hot and fresh has not disappointed can’t wait for another take away

Had good meals from here for 18 months Ryan treated like dirt. They do not care about their customers they treated us like dirt twice. Our food arrived cold and horrible. Their answer was “well we have been busy and have had a lot of people in the shop and they need to be serviced first so your food may arrive cold ??????? Waste of time and this place deserves to be shut down

Great food, large portions, fast delivery even on a busy night..

We have just feasted on the most delicious meal from Tasty Wok. Covid prevents us venturing out so the delivery service was superb. All dishes were so fresh and piping hot. Will certainly be ordering again soon. Thank you Tasty Wok for such brilliant service.

Todos eligieron una comida más opción de arroz, llamaron por teléfono y nos dijeron a qué hora recoger. Pagó la comida a la llegada, la recogió cuando estuvo lista. Todavía estaba caliente cuando llegamos a casa, toda la comida deliciosa, pedí demasiado, por lo que las sobras hicieron el almuerzo para el trabajador al día siguiente. Definitivamente regresaremos para otra comida, otro día.

Just had tasty wok for the first time absolutely amazing we had several different dishes, and big portions and very tasty the sambal noodles are amazing and the beef, chilli and garlic is gorgeous, I highly recommend 5 stars

By far the beat place in Eastbourne. I have tried pretty much every chinese in this town and they have all changed over the years but this has always been consistent and hands down the best tasting. Not greasy and packed full of flavour.

Not used another Chinese in ages, simply the best in Eastbourne (And I have tried most of them) Five stars Edit, Feb 23rd 2020 changed to 2 stars from 5... went to order today like I do about twice a month, Called them up for my usual, was told by a very abrupt lady "only cash for delivery", I said thats new as Ive always used card.. Silence, no oh sorry we have had a change of policy, or the card machine is broke... just.. silence...like well cash or get off the phone sort of silence.. I dont have cash on me, I usualy pay by card.... Silence could almost feel her apathy.. I found it very rude and had to order elsewhere, kids were dissapointed as they are the only ones that do seafood platters. Might reconsider ordering in future as I dont think I want to deal with that lady again :( The other lady was always lovely and friendly.

We get a take away regularly now and the food is always delicious!

Love Tasty Wok. Delicious food, great hygiene rating, friendly and quick delivery. They always cater for us vegans when we request no eggs and dairy etc.

Pedí una comida para llevar de aquí esta semana. La comida fue probablemente la peor comida china que he probado. La calidad de la comida era muy baja, la carne apenas sabía a la carne como se anunciaba. Los fideos estaban bien, pero realmente no se pueden equivocar. Lo único positivo es que es barato, pero desafortunadamente, obtienes lo que pagas.No recomendaría este lugar a nadie y ciertamente no voy a visitarlo.

I have ordered from here twice now delivery and collection and both times have been good service, timing was good. I ordered the chilli and garlic squid my favourite which was delicious, nice and crispy but not over cooked great flavour. Their rice is lovely we had the Singapore rice and the special fried rice neither were dry. The only thing I could mark them down on was the prawn crackers, they tasted a bit stale, other than that good takeaway will probably only order from them from now on.

mi novia y yo pedimos comida allí el domingo pasado, cuando llegué al pollo en salsa de satay, tomé un bocado. sabía algo así como el cobre, lo escupí y me sorprendió que en realidad era una pieza de metal afilado. Me corté la lengua, no es gran cosa. sin embargo, cuando llamé no tenían nada que decir, acepta que nos disculpemos por eso. bueno, creo que la compensación estaría en orden después de tal incidente. nunca comer aquí de nuevo, peligroso, especialmente para los niños.

Quería dar 0 estrellas, pero Tripadvisor no me deja. Pedimos desde hoy a las 18:12 solo había un pedido de 17, así que nada complicado y una hora más tarde los llamé y me preguntaron dónde estaba mi pedido ya que me dijeron que hora y puedo caminar allí en tan solo 30 segundos desde mi casa. Me dijeron que mi pedido no estaba en la tienda, así que debe estar listo para entregar, así que pensamos que 1 o 2 minutos más o menos, pero no 30 minutos después de esto tuve que llamar de nuevo y preguntar dónde estaba y me dijeron que no tenían mi pedido allí y luego me dijeron que sí, pero él tenía la dirección incorrecta y la está enviando ahora. Sí, efectivamente, estaba en mi puerta 10 minutos más tarde, sin embargo, cuando empezamos a pescarnos, todo estaba frío y empapado, donde había estado metido en la bolsa durante tanto tiempo que la condensación lo había mojado.
