The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Ashford South East

Genuinly the best takeaway around Tenterden. The others are overpriced, small portions and always hit and miss. The new golden kitchen in Biddenden without fail nails it every time !

We had travelled from The North to visit family in Kent and we were hopeful this Chinese take away would be great….unfortunately it wasn’t ! The lemon chicken was good, however the chicken balls had that ‘overused oil twang ‘ and the seafood Thai red curry was poor. The egg fried rice was dry and the prawn crackers were past their best. All in all I wish I would have used an App to provide our Chinese meal. I would not recommend .

Food was ok, nothing to go crazy about. Small portions. Was quite dear for what we had. Waitress started taking plates over my shoulder prior to us finishing eating. As we were here for work purposes, we didn’t want to pay the service charge as we can’t claim it back. Asked politely, was met with reasonable questions was everything ok? And I said yes, then she walked away rudely in a huff and then the waiter and her were arguing about us taking the tip off. When we left, we said thanks and goodbye and were totally ignored as they were that annoyed. Quite disappointed really. For clarity I tip when I eat out the majority of times, but this service didn’t warrant it as well as being for work. They charged us £2 for a little dip too which niggled me.

Very good very nice must say only on thing is it could have been a bit bigger portion but will recommend and will go back again

I'm sorry but this is quite possibly the worst Chinese ever had .. we thought we would try somewhere else . As our normal spot was over 2 hours delivery and wish I waited . Ribs looked like they came of road kill. Everything was over cooked And got chicken instead of beef on one dish Honest please ignore any good reviews I would rather have cheese on toast and save my money

Wonderful food . Great choice of dishes not too expensive .Does get very busy on a Saturday evening.

I ordered a meal that cost over £35 to be delivered and was very disapointed.1)It was late and 2) It was stone cold,so i had to reheat.The food was not very nice as it usually is and had to wait an hour and half for my food even though i ordered it before 5.30pm.This is the second time ive been dissapointed with Ga Wah which is a shame cause they were brilliant.I wont be ordering from them again.

Always a reliable meal delivered on time to your door. Have never had a bad meal in years of being a customer. Great taste and portion size .... highly recommended but we ordered sweet and sour pork balls for the first time. These were terrible - hard and very chewy , we left them all, they should never have been served in this state. Totally inedible. The “pork”was grey, hard and could have been any meat !!, never again.

As a family and also our friends have been using Wok 4 U for years and always had amazing food and the best service. The Best Chinese takeaway in Ashford

Would give 0 stars If possible. Food was stone cold and old, made incorrectly. Portions were tiny, sauces weren’t even filled to the halfway mark. Staff were rude and called us liars. Would never return or recommend. Please consider using a different takeaway!
