On-campus restaurant/takeaway. Great choice of dishes - good value deals or full menu choice. The dishes we had were really tasty and portions were good. Many dishes not normally seen at an 'english' Chinese place. The place is no-frills with shared tables. You order at the counter and collect your food when called. It's not fancy, but a good place to eat if you're on campus.

Visited Trungs last night for the first time but it definitely won’t be the last. The best Chinese food we have had in a long time, couldn’t fault anything. Piping hot, tasty food served by friendly attentive staff in an easy going comfortable environment. Can’t recommend this place highly enough, a real find, try it you will not be disappointed.

I used to order from here a lot a few years ago, however trying again today I'm sadly very disappointed. The standard seems to have dropped and is now no better than the majority of other sub-par Asian restaurants/takeaways in the area. The satay was watery and bland, the crispy beef was also bland, chewy and sloppy, and the noodles with bean sprouts (which used to be tasty enough to eat on their own) are now also of a lesser quality. Best part was the sesame prawn toast, as long as you don't have the dipping sauce which smells and tastes like melted sweets (and fluorescent in colour). Just wasted £30 and officially given up with Chinese takeaways - I'll just make my own in future.

This is one of the restaurants frequented by Lancaster college students. In other Chinese restaurants, menu items that are frequently served are often prepared in advance and served out, but here, they are cooked right away when you order, so the food has a nice smell and is really delicious. Be sure to try it when you come to Lancaster. Recommended menu: -beef rice noodle (beef hofun (fried noodles)) -sweet and sour pork -Egg fried rice -Salt and pepper chicken (fried chicken stir-fried with salt, pepper, onions, etc.) -beef and corriander stir fry

All of the food we ordered was consistent... Consistently bland. and flavourless. When we opened the box for the beef chowmien it looked grey and watery, tasted like it too. The spring rolls were filled with polystyrene like "meat granules" the Staff treated me like a chore and was as cold as the freezer that the meals were unearthed from. We shall not order again.

We came here at 8.40pm on a Sunday night . Our order was taken and we were then told it was a 50 min wait for our food . We didn’t have a choice but to wait as nothing else open at this time in the area . The food is not nice at all . The egg fried rice was tasteless and dry . The chicken curry tasted like packet mix and the chicken was soggy and defiantly processed from a frozen packet . My son had chowmein and chips . Again the chicken is soggy and processed. The chips were over cooked aswell . For the prices that you charge , I would expect more flavour and decent meat not the soggy stuff that you put in your food . I would not buy from here again .
