We are lucky to be local to this takeaway. Run by a lovely couple. The shop is spotlessly clean, the food is lovely and the owners very friendly.

Great that I could order before 5pm! Polite staff, nice food. However, I think I was charged too much. 2 chicken curry & fried rice, 1 chicken satay & fried rice, a portion of chips....just over £36. I live in Brighton and too late for me to query prices. They don't seem to have an online website with their menu either, so can't check prices that way. I would recommend but double check what they charge you.

Order in advance as we had to wait 45 mins but well worth the wait . Salt and pepper chicken was amazing. Very friendly lady on the counter . You can pay by card also BONUS. And has a little car park too .

The food was bloody lovely. Had S&S pork and chicken curry and it was the best chineses we have had for a long time. Was just overnight stopping on our barge holiday but would defo go back if i was in the area.

Frequented this takeaway a lot through lockdowns and beyond. Never had a bad meal yet. Portion sizes are more than adequate & the prices are fare, great to have such a quality takeaway in our village.

By far the best Chinese takeaway around here. First time we have tried here, we are very fussy when it comes to Chinese and have to say we all loved our food, you could tell it was made fresh to order and certainly one of the tastiest Chinese we have tried. Such an excellent chinese takeaway, food is superb. We had sweet and sour fish, won tons and mixed meat fried rice. Staff and friendly and food is prepared quick. Prices are good too.

The food from this Chinese takeaway has always been good but tonight it waw.absolutely superb. Crispy wan ton and spring roles were light and tasty. Beef steak in oyster just melted in the mouth and Kung Po chicken was tender with just the right amount of heat. Better than meals I've had in Manchester China town

Best Chinese takeaway for miles!

We have used Sea View for the last couple of years and the food is always fresh and tasty. The portion sizes are quite generous and we normally qualify for free prawn crackers (over £15). The front of house staff are really friendly and ever so courteous. Top Tip: It opens at 5pm but you can order from 1pm.

We have been going to the Sea View for several years now. Not living directly in the area we have tried a few others but in our opinion the food doesn't come any better than here. It's always made fresh and piping hot...they have a great customer reward scheme..and the lady behind the counter is always polite and atentinve and eager to please.

We regularly get take out from Sea View and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious! Great portion sizes, lots of variety, you never have to wait long and the service is always provided with a smile. Would definitely recommend 😁

Usually get a take away from Trungs whose food is excellent if not a tad expensive and always a long wait. We were recommended here by friends and we were so pleasantly surprised weve been back a lot and it is our take away choice. Always try something different and always good. Never have to wait and the couple are so lovely.Highly recommended.

Food loads of it and really delicious too

Although this establishment is within two hundred yards of my house and I am a long time resident, this is my first visit under the current management. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of the food and the very reasonable price.i shall certainly be calling again.

We had high hopes for this takeaway. Chicken Satay skewers - lacking in flavour. Sweet and sour chicken - lacking in flavour. Mixed foo young - beef poor, eggs overcooked. Fried rice average. Sorry we wanted to love it! Charming service though.

To be honest, I’ve never been a great fan of Chinese food, but I was persuaded by family to give this establishment a go. Well I’m glad I did. In trying to cut down my carnivorous tendencies, I opted for the vegetables with cashew nuts and egg fried rice. The vegetables, cooked to perfection, were numerous and varied. The portions were ample and I may now be a convert to Chinese food.

This is a tiny take-away. The food was standard Cantonese done to European taste. Service was friendly, food freshly cooked and very reasonable.

Fast, efficient, lovely friendly staff, good value for money and always spotlessly clean. They run a loyalty card system too. The 'salt and pepper' chips, as well as many of their Chinese dishes at Sea View Chinese Takeaway are simply the best in our opinion.

After trying a few local Chinese takeaways in the area just recently, which have been very disappointing, we will be going back to what we know... and what we know is VERY GOOD. Food is always piping hot, very friendly lady who greets you every time, also get to use a voucher/stamp system for discounts in the future. Chicken Chow Main is the BEST I have ever tasted by a country mile.Little hidden treasure. Prices are also good. Just a shame they don't deliver to me with the distance and have to collect :(

We have used this chinese for a number of years and the standard is always high and the service excellent. The garlic prawns and broccoli are delicious. We phone the order through before collection and the phone service is always polite and no mistakes. Well done Lin.

As a customer for many years, I have nothing but praise for this establishment. Good quality food at reasonable prices, I’m not sure where the other reviewers who said this place is expensive eat, but the prices here are fair given the better quality takeaway this is.

After reading the feedback regarding this establishment I thought I would give it a try with my local closed for holidays. Hot & Sour soup was poor on content and knife skills very poor, i.e chunks rather than finely shredded ingredients little choice of ingredients and poor on depth of flavour. BBQ ribs where tough, dry and flavourless with little meat on them the worst part of the meal. Sweet and sour was good on ingredients but poor on flavour again lacking. Beef chow main was good on ingredients, noodles where over cooked and the flavour of the chow mains sauce was found wanting tasted like weak gravy rather than a sauce. Prices I found very expensive and regrettably the food did not live up to the price or some of the competition. I will look forward to my local reopening answer wait until then. I would also recommend that the Chef tastes there food it will be there only way to sort out the bland flavours.

Use this takeaway at least once a week, food always good and cooked to order. Ring up and your meal is ready in 15 minutes. Can't go wrong here !

We ve been getting our Saturday night take away from here for years and wouldn't recommend anywhere else. The service is slick and professional and the food delicious. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

We recently moved to Morecambe and tried Sea View for the first time tonight - what a gem! Don't be put off by its 'blink and you'll miss it' exterior, this place offers a great choice of dishes, decent prices, fast and friendly service and (most importantly) the food was delicious! We'll be back!!

Been going since it first opened and will continue going for a long time. They are not only accomodating and flexible but a lovely family. The food is always tasty, priced right and hot!! What more can you ask for.

Every time we visit this area we go to the Sea View for our takeaway. We have been served by the same person each time we visit and she very efficient and friendly. The food is always excellent and no matter what we order it is cooked fresh and we only have a few minutes waiting time. We can highly recommend this place. They offer a very extensive menu.

We love this little humble chinese takeaway. Every time we come back to England we have to visit it. Hot and sour soup, sweet and sour tofu, vegetarian spring rolls and main dishes in all sorts of sauce... Of course there are a lot of options to choose. All you can think of! Strongly recommended.
