Been going to this chinese since i was a teenager and the food has always been amazing... never had a bad meal ever..

Absolutely brilliant food all fresh and piping hot. Lovely friendly service and staff. Couldn't recommend it enough. Our favourite.

In my opinion it’s the best Chinese in town. Reasonable priced and a great selection. The special fried rice is without doubt the best I’ve ever had. They don’t have a delivery service but do take telephone orders. Well worth a visit

My partner and myself were visiting Lancaster and came across this restaurant on Google. Reserved a table over the phone due to covid. Greeted on arrival, very friendly. Traditional Chinese interior and relaxing music. The atmosphere was great. Table service was amazing. There was someone close by to take our order, drink or food. No waiting around. The food was tremendous. We ordered a mix of starters for the main to share. Best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Would definitely come here again.

Is this is the best Chinese takeaway in Morecambe by far? I think so, it's where I always go. I love the food there and the owner's have run it for many many years, this is why it's so consistant. It has been good for many many years. I don't know why it's called new dragon town ? As it has been there for a long time.

Best beef and mushroom curry I've ever had. Kids loved it too and the chips are the best around. This is my favourite takeaway when I'm in Morecambe 10/10

Been getting food from dragon town on & off over the years. The food is always consistently good & can never fault it. If only dragon town was on just eat / they delivered

Had salt, pepper and chilli chicken with chips and my husband had chicken mushroom fried rice. Both meals were lovely but my dish was the best and would definitely get again. We also ordered veg spring rolls to share and they were great too. Prices are really good and staff are friendly. Worth ordering.

Traditional Chinese food with generous portions

Ordered a variety of dishes . Disappointed with the lack of flavour ( All dishes) and the amount of red food colouring ( in the ribs and char siu pork) . The egg fried rice had more flavour than the main dishes. Ordered sweet and sour chicken , char siu pork , chicken chow mein barbecue ribs ,duck in ginger with pineapple . The sauces lacked any flavour whatsoever . The dishes did however have plenty of meat that was a decent size. The salt and pepper chips were excellent . Will not be going again .

I have travelled all over the world and it is hard to find anywhere that provides good food consistantly every visit. I Highly Recommend this Chinese Takeaway if you like good quantity added to authentic flavour at a reasonable price also, this is the place for you. The chicken and sweetcorn soup is Brilliant as is any of the Salt & Pepper or Salt, Pepper and Chilli dishes, other places make the mistake of making them overly hot, here it is flovoursome and they will make a dish more or less hot as required, but I advise against this as it will mess with a great taste. Highly Recommended to anyone with taste buds.

Absolutely disgusting couldn't eat any of it. Special chow mein BBQ ribs the sauce was awful and the chicken and pork did not taste right. The chips were hard. Everything went in the bin. Will never order from here again.

This is still the best Chinese around. The ribs have so much meat on them, but maybe just a bit less red in the sauce, the sauce used to be a nice brown colour and the chips, i dont know what you do to them, but i couldn't stop eating them. We dont eat out as much as we used to, so you forget about these little take aways. Keep up the good work and we will be back in the future.

Is the best Chinese takeaway in morecambe in my opinion, have used for years and would not go anywhere else

I live in hope of finding a Chinese takeaway in the U.K. where the food resembles that of the orient. This is not such place. The welcome was cheerful and friendly but the so called Crispy Chicken in Chilli Sauce was a bland offering of strips of re-formed tasteless chicken - I assume - that resembled soggy rope. The fried rice was decent. I would not return to this take-away and wished that I'd returned to Atkinson's excellent fish and chip restaurant just across the road.

I've been going here since I was a teenager and have since moved to Lancaster and I will still happily drive through to get my Chinese from here. Delicious food and you never have to wait long.

been using dragontown for around 20 +years excellent food only problem they don't deliver ( it's that's nice they don't have too)

We have used this take away for may years and the quality never differs always very good. The meal for 4 is very good value for money and lots of it. I would highly recommend the Chinese only drawback is they do not deliver but it is well worth jumping in the car and collecting

Amazing food, friendly proprietors.

We visited this take away over the festive period as our usual chinese take away (Shengs) wasnt open. Its safe to say we will never use it again and find it unbeliable that other people have suggested its the "best" in Morecambe. The chicken was discusting, you could tell it was mass produced wholesaler frozen chicken by the texture and the shape (large squares of 'meat'). The chips were deep fried to within an inch of their live, we may aswell of bought a bag of crisps!! Egg fried rice where by the egg was non existant. And well the bbq sauce tasted like ainseed. Oh well, lesson learnt :)

we always go to this take away when we are Morecambe. Cant fault the food,always hot and tasty. Never had a bad meal from here before..shame we are so far away as this would be our local if we lived there. Lots of choice and great service. Keep up the good work guys..

Fantastic Chinese take away, best in Morecambe. Definitely recommend. Have occasionally used other's in area but always come back to New Dragon Town. Lovely couple very friendly.

I ordered the hot and spicy chicken strips with rice. I had a vision in my head of what it will taste like. Well I was disappointed. It was gloppey and the chicken was over cooked. The sauce tasted very strange. I am not local ate here as I was working in the area. The staff were friendly though.
