We went to McChina at about 7:15pm for my dad's birthday. We ordered starters first which took about 1hr to come and then they rushed the main course through. Don't get me wrong the food is good but the service is poor. We ordered two other beers, they never came but then they tried to charge us for these. No Apology just a comment from the owner to come back on a Thursday when it's quieter. You should be able to deal with the customer flow everyday of the week and not blame it on increased deliveries.

Me and my partner absolutely loved it. The food was super delicious, the staff very friendly and polite. The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect. The chicken in the mixed hors d’oeuvres was nice and juicy even it was batter and deep fried, same with the quarter duck very flavourful and juicy. Highly recommended if you’re near , even if you’re not worth the drive.

I came twice here in less than an hour! The first time it was early in the morning so only sushi was available however the spicy Californian roll wasn't on the shelf, but after asking them they freshly made it right in front of me and it was on the best sushi I've ever had - incredibly fresh and the price is very good too. The second time I went was at lunch and after seeing that their chicken katsu curry was popular I decided to buy it. Unfortunately I didn't realise that it was made using beef stock because it was only mentioned in small writing outside the shop on a foldable blackboard. As I don't eat beef I asked the owner and he was very helpful, apologising for it and giving me a replacement of a chicken teriyaki which is not made from beef stock. Thank you for the excellent food and customer service. We will definitely come again!

Completely empty when we came… and soon we knew it is empty for a reason… had many many Xiang and Sichuan dishes and this one is really really really average… the 辣子鸡(spicy chicken) was verrrrry dried, chili overcooked with many burnt to dark color not appetising at all… the 农家小炒肉 ( stir fried port with chili) uses very thick pork not authentic at all …. The tofu was very greasy…maybe it had it’s time I can tell you in 2024 please avoid this place… won’t come again.
