Bund Restaurant in Haringey

We went for my birthday last week and it was FANTASTIC!! I didn't know this place existed before and now we will be regulars, the food was exquisite, the staff were wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely. The crispy duck was a sensation, the crispy beef was melt in the mouth, the sweet and sour chicken was crispy and light and the beef short rib was simply one of the best things i've ever tasted. THANK YOU!!

Excellent food, we came in for Chinese New year and had a great time, great service and tasty fresh food. My favourite was the crispy chilly beef - but everything tasted yummy! If you want a Chinese meal, this is the place!

Impressed, well worth a visit. I popped in just to order takeway and got to see all the numerous dishes of lovely food passing me to the tables. We were very pleased with our order and will eat here next time. It was good value and quality food. It has a nice atmosphere. Not a big place so probably do reserve.

Came here for the first time last night. Food was fantastic, as was the service and the owner was so lovely. We will definitely be back ver soon.

This local Chinese in Muswell Hill is consistently top quality. I recommend the Sweet & Sour Chicken & the dim sum - but everything on the menu is amazing. We have been to Bund on numerous occasions, it never disappoints. I don’t know why you would review the restaurant based on its size - it is a smallish unit, but that does not have any bearing on anything. This is a great night out, terrific atmosphere and food, and never disappoints us We are a family of five - all very fussy. Try Bund , you won’t regret it.

we have been to Bund a few times and each time it has been really great. It is a little local gem, the ambience is cosy and relaxed and the food is super good.

A very small restaurant which felt very cramped. My friend had eaten her starter before mine even arrived. The hot plates arrived for the main 15 minutes before the food arrived so were cold and we sent them back. My friend got her main 5 minutes before mine. We didn’t bother staying for dessert or coffee. Terrible service. The food was very average too, my noodles were bland and the chilli sauce arrived 10 minutes after I requested it. Very disappointing, I wouldn’t go back.

My wife and I were looking for an exciting and good quality Asian-style restaurant in Muswell Hill and took a chance on Bund. We were not at all disappointed. The food selections are vast and varied. The wine list is really very good. The presentation of the food was 10/10 but also the flavours and portion sizes were perfect too. The service was all very attentive and friendly and we really enjoyed our night. We'll definitely return. Highly recommended!

We have eaten here quite a few times and other than the odd mistake by the waiting staff Bund never fails to deliver on delicious Asian food. You could definitely find cheaper but as always you do get what you pay for. We love the place and are very grateful it's so local thus making it easy to support. Why a previous reviewer has to get personal about the owner is baffles me they make no mention of the food. It's quite small so you might need to book to avoid disappointment.

Cringe worthy owner. Didn’t like over familiarity meanwhile sitting at a table nearby eating loads of food and drinking wine with friends.

Brilliant place. We were recommended by friends who we came with to celebrate one of their birthdays. The food was as good as they said, as were the drinks. Nice decor. Fantastic staff. They made my friends birthday really memorable. Will definitely recommend and have done.

Some of the best Asian food we have eaten, ever, superb. A wonderful neighbouirhood restaurant, but also worth travelling to.

We have been going to Bund for some time now and in our opinion it is the best Asian/Thai restaurant for miles around. We were last there on Saturday 17th and had a really excellent meal. The one thing that we could criticise is the fact that the owner/manager should circulate more and not spend so much time sitting with his friends in the front table by the window. I understand later that evening the kitchen closed without notice and some later customers did not receive their full orders. This spoils their reputation and is not good publicity
