The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Forest Heath East of England

Been a customer of Studlands for many years. This is by far the best Chinese Take Away in the region to the point where I dont live within delivery distance and therefore always happy to drive to collect my food rather than going to one more local! Always really polite on the phone, know who you are straight away and have never missed a time slot yet for us even at busy times such as Xmas, New Year, Mothers Day etc. Food is on point, the £25 mega box is great value and easily feeds 3. Highly recommended!

Now renamed as GreenBox Sushi, this Japanese restaurant is no longer a buffet. Inside the seating is very dark and dingy, with delivery supplies and clutter over half of the tables. We decided to eat outside as it was lovely weather. The menu we were given to browse was paper stapled together, no lamination or design. When ordering I asked for coke, which was on their menu, they didn’t have coke so we had to opt for Pepsi. When taking my food order the receptionist told me that they were busy with lots of deliveries and had to go ask the kitchen staff if it was okay to take my order! I had the tofu ramen and my partner had the pork ramen with a side of gyozas. Gyozas were fried instead of steamed, no sauce provided and were luke warm in the middle. I believe they cost £6.50, so from a price point this is quite underwhelming. However the ramen was delicious! We opted for the spicy broth and it went lovely with the tofu and beansprouts! Definitely would recommend the ramen as it’s full of flavour and quite a large portion! I was again disappointed that the cutlery provided was a fork and spoon. We eat Japanese and Chinese cuisine often at home as I’m a huge fan of recreating dishes, we are used to eating with chopsticks and it felt very wrong eating ramen with a fork! I would suggest investing in washable steel chopsticks, that way you save chopstick waste but keep the authentic Asian feeling.

I would recommend the wok n rock as it has really good food especially the sweet and sour chicken and really friendly customer service and they cater for big groups as they catered very well for our table of 12 adults and 5 children , the service was 100% perfect and would just like to say thank you Hollie for everything you did to make mine and my families evening a really enjoyable experience I will be visiting again on my next visit from The Netherlands . Have in the past used this takeaway and generally pleased with the food. Just ordered a takeaway as a treat after a busy week. My food was terrible, greasy, totally tasteless, had no choice but to bin all of it! This was not cheap, lesson learnt, ☹️

Best Chinese food in Newmarket. Food for pick up is ready quickly and is hot and fresh. The crispy duck is my favourite very yummy

Had a really excellent takeaway while staying at nearby Center Parcs. The onsite option was expensive and limited menu - we were happy to find our favourite dishes on Peaxh Bower menu and had plenty to eat for 4 for under £50.00. We pre-ordered online and collected (5 mins away) - all worked smoothly. We would def reccommend to anyone else. Food was delicious.

Terrible service, took our order and yet again couldn't deliver, blaming the driver. .
