The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Castle Leicester East Midlands

Been here a couple of times and love it. Fairly priced and excellent piping hot food both times. Staff were lovely too. Sat in for the second visit and it was great experience being served very quickly.

Myself & two friends visited this place for the first time last night, because I’m a wee bit obsessed with all things Korean & it seemed the perfect place to end our Xmas shop b4 heading home! We weren’t disappointed! Lovely pork belly sizzling plate,veg tbokki & other things I can’t remember! Soo much choice & the food was fresh & very tasty! We enjoyed some peach soju with our food & the owner?gave us an interesting dessert to share tog.too. I’m definitely going to go back with the family to experience the full grill yr own food experience! We were advised/assisted on all our choices & it felt really authentic! I've been here on multiple occasions and it never seems to disappoint. Always a great pleasure eating from this little local Chinese place. It's located well in the city centre near to the market. They have a range of options - all clearly pictured with descriptions on the wall. They serve halal meat/chicken. The food is delicious! They cater to your "spice" needs depending on how you'd like it. The hand pulled noodles are great and the meat is perfect. The broth is tasty also! Delicious food and great staff - I'd always pay a visit

The Sautéed Pork is a must try as is sweet on the palette. Rice and Cumin Lamb is recommended and definitely for the hot spice lovers the spicy tofu is a wonderful choice.

Portion sizes are amazing, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Incredible value for money. Beef is tender and flavourful, and I’ve never had any issues. Staff are helpful and speak basic English (that’s how you know the food is 🔥) and you can take any extra food home for a second meal.

I travelled from Birmingham with my cousins and this was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. Its HMC so rest assured, its halal which is the main reason I came here. One of my cousins, raihan is a picky eater but even he enjoyed the steam dumplings/lamb skewers and handmade noodles.

In my opinion the food was bland. Chicken was cooked lovely but tasted like chicken with gravy on. Chips were not proper salt and chilli chips. Service charge!!!!!!! What's that all about not good. And it's quite expensive tbh.

First time visiting this restaurant. It was not very crowded and finding a table was easy. There was only one lady serving quite a few tables. This made the service slow. The food itself was good and has lots of veggie options. The ambience is neat and clean but is a bit dull.

I've just tried Noodle house, after following some of my friends recomendations. I was told it was really good food, but I was still pleasently surprised. The guy that cooked for me was incredibly friendly and accomodating, and because I made a large order, he cooked it all up fresh in front of me. He was very busy on his own cooking, serving, and on the phone to delivery drivers. But he was still attentive to me at all times. We have just finished our 3x very packed noodle boxes and they were just as nice as I was told. I will become a regular for sure. Highly recommended. By Marco Ruscelli

I visited on a bank holiday Monday evening, the place was fairly quiet. It was my first outing to somewhere like this and I enjoyed the experience, fortunately my friend that I visited with showed me how I was meant to eat here as none of the food was labelled as to what it was, the sauces were the same, I know, you can tell what a shrimp looks like, but some of the other things were pot luck for the most part. Anywho, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the waitress was very pleasant and attentive. The decor is a little spit and sawdust (chipboard paneling) The price was a little more than I'd expect to pay for the food, though far from a rip off. The 1 out of 5 with their food safety rating was somewhat of a concern, but I'm sure it's something they're working on. Overall a good experience, good venue for a casual dinner and shall return.

Love this place. Great Chinese halal food in Leicester. I much prefer this over Oodles! I get Manchurian Chicken with noodles & rice. My partner prefers the chicken curry with chips.

Very friendly service and delicious Cantonese food. Reasonable prices and big portions. Had the seafood hor fun with the ‘breath of wok’. Truly yummy! Also hor fun soup with roast duck and roast meat. Not bad at all. Finally stuffed tofu perfectly done using silken soft tofu and crispy outside. Excellent meal and highly recommended!
