The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Food not as good and cold. Had to wait for it to be served. Used to be good, but don’t think we will rush back. As it’s the only one in Boston, we are a captive audience.

A great local takeaway! Good selection of Chinese food and very tasty. My favourite, I love the prawn toast and sweet and sour chicken, super yum. Cash only.

Had a takeaway fir eight adults on Saturday night. Obviously we had a large range of dishes between us. Food was ok really liked the yuk sung but the chicken balls were a bit doughy. I think Oakengates has better options out there to be honest.

I find this place just average, the food is OK and not very tasty The people are nice but I don't like the food so I guess I won't come back

Excellent food but the time it took to receive it was a little disappointing. The quality of the meat was good, but wasn't much there. I would rate this chinese 7.5/10 Thank you :)

We were really looking forward to this evening as we both love Malaysian food and had booked it two months in advance. The pub service was very good and professional but we left feeling disappointed with the food. We often sign up to supper clubs and felt that given the ingredients, £55 per head for four courses, was very steep. Rice and lentils (although the dal was delicious) are very basic. The atmosphere was very congenial tho' and Ping was charming. We were expecting more of a "wow" factor having watched her progress avidly from Masterchef.

Food arrived cold, chips did not taste freshly made, sweet sour chicken was terrible and was cold (batter tasted odd and was not crispy), chicken chow mein below average, spring rolls pastry was cold and not crispy. Over all I didn’t like the taste and my family did not eat any of the food after trying their first bite. All wasted and money! Delivery took an hour almost. First time trying here and won’t be back unfortunately.

Best Chinese in Exeter 10/10 every time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Excellent food , great local take away in chandlers ford - excellent customer service, fast delivery and piping hot food. If I was to be super critical I’d say their prawn crackers need work and it’s a shame a pot of seaweed/cabbage is nearly £7. But can’t complain, food delicious.

This was my 2nd visit to Lotus while visiting family in Harrogate and I must say we weren't disappointed. The service is great - we only had to wait a few minutes for our food which was absolutely delicious, fresh, hot and plentiful.

Had the best ever turkey roast dinner a few weeks ago. Meant to leave a review sooner. Great ambiance. The staff were wonderful and made us all feel welcomed and happy. Hadn’t eaten there before except for a wake and the buffet was excellent. Took our four friends for Sunday lunch and hoped we’d picked the right place, WE DID! Thank you so much!!!!

To start the tea water was not hot ask for chilli oil it was not oil it was butter it must be that I had a lot of time outside I ordered 5 different types of dim sum none of them were tasty do not go to that place...in Chinatown with the same price there are better Dim sum

This was a take away order as the restaurant was closed . My meal king Prawn with pineapple was ok however the salt & pepper box @£17.90 was a complete waste of money 3/4 of which was inedible. I complained by telephone explaining it was grossly over cooked ( suspect it was already cooked and reheated) . All I received was “I’m sorry next time say you don’t want it cooking as much . Sorry not good enough I will not be ordering again .
