Staff were quite rude, we ordered various dishes and they came out randomly. After about 40 minutes we said we were still missing two and they were cheeky telling us to wait.

Dim sum was great, as was the soup. I got an Indonesian noodle dish, everything but the noodles was great, the noodles were tough in way that suggests to me that they dried out before being prepared. The service was fast and helpful, I think many of the very negative reviews of this place are a unfounded.

I'm coeliac so not easy to accommodate. Plum Valley is our go to place when taking friends out to dinner.The food never disappoints and the service is great.

Honestly wandered in kind of randomly, looking for a small afternoon snack. The bbq ribs "appetizer" is more of a full meal, with five large and very meaty and tasty ribs. Staff was friendly, prices were good, atmosphere was nice - and lot of locals were eating here, which tells you the food is good and authentic.

Refused entry as one of our party was a wheelchair user. Restaurant had accepted booking which clearly indicated that 1 of us was wheelchair user. Very rude and dismissive when we arrived and it became clear.

Incredibly delicious. The soups consisted of all fresh ingredients and were not watery. And the dim sum menu was also very tasty. It was a mixed bag and everyone was enthusiastic about it.

Everything was amazing , the service was really fast , the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious especially the dumplings they had a big variety of dumplings and also the cheese prawn rolls were very very good we ordered another one . Overall very good experience

Our table was placed downstairs near the toilets. The service was catastrophic. We waited 30 minutes until we received a drink and then it was the wrong one. They weren't friendly either and almost threw us out in the end so that the next guests could come. We didn't like the food at all and the whole thing was way too expensive! Recommendation: look for a restaurant outside the center. They don't have such overpriced mass processing there.

I was quite excited to go based off lots of amazing reviews I had read, but the food just wasn’t that good. I’m vegetarian so I ordered some of the mock duck things, and honestly they were more sweet than anything else. Addition of more spice would have made them better as it almost felt like I was eating dessert.

The restaurant looked very nice and more « chic » compared to the other restaurants in Chinatown. If the dim sums were ok, the fried noodles was overcooked.

I liked it. Solid four stars which is great considering the competition in this area. Highly recommended if you are in the area and looking for Chinese dishes.

Many fake reviews on here, this place made us both sick. The food did not taste that good either. Do not recommend.

So went to try the colourful dim sum, order came, one of the items I ordered was taken to the table next to me. When I asked they said mine was coming. After another 15 wait no sign of my missing dim sum. They said they would cancel it, but I said I still wanted it. They said it will come in 5 min. It never did, they just put everything in a takeaway bag, minus my missing min sum. No colourful dim sum picture taken, what a nerve wracking experience and extremely poor service and communication. Please avoid!

The picture on the internet are misleading - our little table was downstairs by the toilets. The service wasn‘t friendly either. The Food didn‘t taste good at all. At the end we felt as if they wanted to get rid of us so that they could welcome the next guests. The price/performance ratio is not right at all. We would never go there again!

A modern restaurant in the middle of Chinatown. The dim sum is very good and the service is fast. The duck was a little thin but still good.

Delicious lunch break! Very good dishes with strong flavours! Huge choice of ravioli! It is not the right place for those who want to relax after the meal, they immediately bring the bill and once paid they invite you to leave the table for someone else; understandable given the long waiting line!

Restaurant like many others, poor quality food and hasty service. Better to go to some other more authentic Chinese restaurant

We had a nice time but there was a pretty shock event where my 8 year old daughter found a metal staple, open, with both sharp prongs out, in her seaweed. On telling the manager, she seems pretty relaxed about it all and showed no real care at all. Had my daughter not seen it and swallowed the staple, she could have done some real damage. We were offered nothing in the way of compensation and I didn’t make a scene as we had kids with us so wouldn’t have been appropriate. Had we been without them, I would have demanded the meal be complimentary. Clearly the manager didn’t have the same problem with finding sharp bits of metal in food she selling!

We were in the room at the back that lacked any atmosphere sadly and the last waiter area was there so made that a little noisy. Was a bit disappointing

Booked for a pre theatre meal. Very friendly staff and nice food. Portions were more than enough. Would go again.

The vegetarian options were fantastic, the sharer appetiser was great & we enjoyed both the mock chicken & mock duck. Would highly recommend

The food was delicious. The fried tofu appetizer was the only thing we didn’t like - too much breading and no taste. Service was not very friendly but it was fast.

So many options and great vegetarian options!! The only downside is that I've had better but the vegetarian duck is the best thing I have ever eaten

How is it possible in 2024 to have this service and dirty place in London? The receptionist was nice, the waiter literally threw the menus on the table and left and came back probably after 20 min. Served the water mostly on the table without being bothered to even apologise and come back and wipe it or give us a tissue or something. I was annoyed before even getting the food but my friend was very hungry so I stayed. The food looked good and can't complain about the taste, to be honest besides the fact that my prawns were very oily and the rice had no taste, they forgot the salt I guess. They wouldn't make any eye contact to make sure you don't ask for anything... I know it was busy as it was Saturday but still. Wasn't happy at all overall but I went to the toilet and got in after a lady that was vaping in the toilet which annoyed me even more, and then saw the mess I posted in the pictures and I got disgusted. Sorry, but I can't believe this is happening in a city like London.

Excellent food choice and you don’t feel cramped in like other restaurants in China Town. You may have to queue, especially on Saturday but it’s worth it. The staff are very friendly and helpful when trying to choose from the menu - try something new ! Highly recommend 😊

I didn't intend for it to be open. It opens at 12 o'clock, but it didn't open on time, so I had to wait for about 5 minutes. There was someone who spoke Chinese, but the other server knew I wasn't Chinese and took my order in English. The portion of fried rice was too large and I was alone, so I regretted ordering more dim sum. But the dim sum was the best I've ever had.

Lots of vegan options. They have a green allergen menu where it is easy to identify what dishes are vegan. The staff were friendly and the food came fast. Its not cheap but you can't really be surprised if you are wanting a meal in China Town!

5 of us arrived with no booking at about 8pm on Wednesday. We were seated in around 5 mins on a large table upstairs - first floor. I thought it was going to be a tourist rip off place because it had that kind of look I was wrong, we had a variety of most delicious dim sum and a three main dishes. The service was efficient and friendly. The turnip cake ? Was a stand out favourite. The bill worked out at just over £31/head including a beer and one large glass of wine AND service which for somewhere like that in central London is a winner. We’d definitely return

Good was very tasty and fresh. Ambience is more plastic, high pressure, turn over the table. But that’s why you get for relatively inexpensive Chinese food in Chinatown.

It is very good for its price and location. Even if i tryied better peking duck, this was one of the best option in the Chinatown, friendly service and overall very good experience

Great selection of tasty dim sum and fantastic service. We had the rainbow dim sum platter, crab meat in soup dumpling, steamed glutinous rice, steamed roast pork rice rolls and salted custard buns. They were all delicious!

After seeing a video on tiktok we decided to come here for a valentines lunch. We were quite disappointed. The egg fried rice had a strong chared burnt wok taste to it. The saving grace was the good selection of veggie options. The staff seemed overly stressed and not very verbal. The small touches like friendliness from waiters and staff can make a big difference to a dining experience . My partner told me there was no toilet paper in the ladies

Went here as saw on tiktok, great vegetarian selection but unfortunately the chicken I got tasted greasy and not fresh. Food was very oily and rice had a distinct bottom of the pan burnt taste. Atmosphere was good but staff seemed stressed and not overly welcoming. Toilets missing loo roll. Expensive

Made for a very enjoyable lunar new year celebration with friends. Lots of vegetarian choices and good service even on such a busy evening. Will definitely be back. My only word of warning - which perhaps simply just means the dish isn't for me - was the szechuan chicken plate which was mostly chilli, with some chicken. The heat level of the chilli was actually very manageable, but you need to love szechuan to be able to eat that much chilli!

We love plum valley and always visit about 3 times when in London for a 2-2.5 week visit. Dim sum is very good and reasonably priced. Chinese tea is plentiful. Service was pleasant and speedy

After being huge fans of Plum Valley, it's quite difficult to express the depth of our disappointment. They do appear to have become quite complacent in their overall approach. The dining room was cold and that was exacerbated by their desire to keep the front door open. The plates weren't warmed and the food was served lukewarm at best. We were then rushed to vacate the table that was being cleaned before we had even put our coats on. The wine, however, was excellent. If you're looking for a little more than average and mediocre this isn't the place for you. We won't be going back - there has to be better for the money.

We always return to this restaurant for Chinese new year's and keep experiencing the same welcoming and homely atmosphere and authentic home made food. I highly recommend it to anyone who has curiosity for authentic Comes cuisine.

The food is excellent, the ravioli in particular are delicious. The staff was not very welcoming, probably also because it was a Saturday evening and the place was fully booked. Fair prices considering the cost of living in London.

A fuir Absolutely!!!!!! Nous avons dîner hier , les nouilles ax fruits de mer étaient trop grasses , les crevettes et calamars crus!! Les crevettes en sauce thaïlandaise a vomir Nous avons laissé nos plats remplis et avons payé une addition de 65£ !! On a eu la nausée toute la nuit! Notre seul mauvais souvenir à Londres!!! Jamais plus jamais

Servizio al tavolo disastroso la cameriera era nervosa e arrabbiata con tutti...arriva il cibo... involtini primavera immangiabili pieni zeppi di olio e ravioli con un chilo di zucchero nell' impasto disgustoso è dir poco...anatra alla Cantonese immangiabile sembrava di plastica conto molto alto...alla fine io e la mia fidanzata siamo usciti dal ristorante senza aver mangiato nulla... esperienza terribile

This place has dropped off big time, so badly I won’t be back. Prawns weren’t deveined. Crispy duck felt like a plate of leftovers, mostly sat, hardly any bits of meat and wasn’t even shredded in front of us, mains felt like buffet food

Been to restaurant years ago and remembered it as being a fine dining establishment with delicious food and good vibe. It was ok but nothing great this time unfortunately so won't be returning

We know our favourites so we often order the same things every time we go! Dimsum is fab and love we can order it in the evening not just during the day. Well worth a visit!

Saw this place reviewed on TikTok and just had to try it while visiting London for a few days and god did it live up to expectations. Salt and pepper chicken was just amazing. The flavours, the crunch, the after taste just left me wanting more. Stir fried Chicken and Cashews was also a massive winner for me. My partner has wanted to try Dim Sum and Cheung Fun for a long time now and she was definitely pleased with what she had. We also shared a Sirloin Beef Ho Fun which was so tender. Will definitely visit again when we are back in the city.

In China Town muss man am Wochenende schauen wo man bleibt, weil an jedem Restaurant eine riesen Schlange steht. Deshalb war das Plum Valley auch nicht unser Favorit und auch nur die Wahl, weil die Schlange etwas kleiner war, als woanders. Das Essen war ganz ok und auch von den Portionen. Der Service war sehr bestimmt und nicht wirklich freundlich, zumal man quasi rausgeschmissen wird, wenn man den Teller fast leer gegessen hat. Insgesamt ist es auch zudem relativ teuer. Kein Reinfall, aber auch keine wirkliche Empfehlung.

the food was good, the food we got, half of our order we never got and when we asked them where the food was they said that they must of forgot, also very overpriced, would recommend if you like slow service and half your order missing

Went there on the promise of a full dim sum menu all day; which they did have! But shame many of them just were not super tasty! Nothing was bad, just nothing was great! Will stick to before 5pm dim sum at other places in china town! Staff were great!

Siamo andati senza prenotazione e siamo stati accolti senza ritardi o esitazioni. Ci è stato assegnato un tavolo grande per tre. Abbiamo ordinato 5 differenti tipologie di DimSum. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, il cibo è ben fatto e molto gustoso. Non abbiamo sentito alcuna pressione o fretta di mangiare e andare. Ultimo ma non meno importante, i bagni sono molto puliti! Grazie ancora

The food was extremely nice but the service was awful. We booked a table for 5:30 for 2 people before going to the theatre. We were still waiting for our main meal at 6:55, knowing that we had to leave by 7:15 at the latest to go to the theatre. This is why decided to book our table for 5:30 so that we would have plenty of time to eat. I made the waitress aware of this also!!!! When the food did arrive, some of the dishes arrived separately. We ended up rushing to eat food which then affected our whole dining experience. Had I had more time at the end, I would have refused to pay the automatic service charge which is added to the bill because I didn’t receive good service. Really disappointing because the food was really good.

I have visited Plum Valley a few times and every time I have been, the food is always delicious. Must try their chilli oil as that is amazing! Definitely recommend going and the interior is quite modern.

The food was really delicious and the waitress was really kind. However I could not finish the food and asked for takeaway boxes. Usually I don't check the receipt and just pay. Luckily my friend took a picture and I noticed I got charged for asking for 3 takeaway boxes??? I didn't know we had to start paying for takeaway boxes

Service was okay, atmosphere great. Food quality poor, some items not hot. Expected the basics on the table like soya sauce - not even the dim sum came with vinegar and ginger. Noodles were greasy and salty. Felt there are better places in Chinatown.

Best Date Night experience in Chinatown. A bit more modern aesthetically but more pricy than other restaurants in the vicinity. The Dim Sum are hands down the best in Chinatown and the Jasmine tea smoked ribs are incredible.

We wanted pre-theatre Dim Sum. So, check out some reviews, but also websites for pictures of the restaurant. 2 ladies who wanted a nice place to sit, eat & chat pre theatre. Website pictures showed a low-lighting nice dining room. On arrival for our booking we were ushered into the basement into a kind of cafeteria style space - all bright light and tables sooooo close together. We asked to sit at a table in a corner, but was told no…. Then the piece de resistance , the music was 12 days of Christmas - this was 5 January…. We ordered a glass of wine & Dim Sum. The food was of course swift and was actually not bad DIm Sum. However we certainly did not linger… we left and went to a lovely hotel for another glass of wine & still had some plenty of time to get to the theatre !!!🎭 The service was exactly what you get with fast turnover Chinese in China Town. Blunt and only bordering on courteous.

Leckeres Essen und schönes Ambiente. Haben leider nur nicht das Essen bekommen, das wir bestellt haben und die Kellnerin wollte absolut nicht mit sich reden lassen bzw. einsehen, dass wir das eine Gericht nicht bestellt haben. Das erste Mal kam die Rechnung nach der Vorspeise obwohl wir noch nicht mal weitere Getränke und die Hauptspeise bekommen hatten...
