China Express in City of London, Westminster

Mi familia siempre visitan este lugar cuando estamos en Londres. Siempre es una buena manera de terminar nuestra larga en la calle Oxford. lances La variedad de comida es estéticamente agradable y el precio es razonable.

Good for a quick meal, but the food is not really worth my £5. Service was fast. It was great that it opens till early morning & has halal food.

Los chinos siempre son una buena opción en los viajes ya que es una comida rápida mas "sana" y con muy buenos precios...este de sabor estaba bien y su tamaño muy abundante

Love this place after doing my shopping, really nice Chinese fast food, offering a variety of choices for a small amount, can't go wrong.

Visited the place for lunch last Saturday. The rates are really cheap it is something like if you wanna opt for small box it contains a rice / noodle and a topping for a £5 and 2 toppings with rice or noodles for £5.50. I went for the 2 toppings and rice which consisted of a chicken fried rice that was good had flavors and aroma , chicken Thai curry that could have been little more better in taste and the caramel chicken ( this one is their specialties basically if you have a sweet tooth that is the thing for you, basically its crispy chicken tossed in caramel sauce and sesame seeds covering). Impressed with the quality and the quantity for which you are paying. The restaurant has small seating to around 30 covers something like that. The staff is friendly and motivated. The best thing was everything is pre cooked and in bran Marie and has a good verity for food.

I've always wanted to eat Chinese out of a box so we hunted out China Express. The service was fast, tables were cheap plastic but clean and plenty of seats. The food was amazingly tasty and spicy and we loved it.

Vi var super fornøyd med maten fra China Express, vi bodde like i nærheten og tok ofte med oss tilbake på hotellet på ettermiddagen. Super billig, veldig kjapt og ikke minst digg mat :) Kan anbefales på det sterkeste om man ønsker en kjapp matbit mellom shoppingen. Ikke akkurat stedet for å sette seg ned å kose seg, men perfekt for take-away eller snack.

Nice staff and lovely, fresh food. Big portions for great prices, possibility to sit down. Small with 1 topping for £5, Medium with 2 toppings for £5.50, Large with 3 toppings for £6.

For a quick Chinese food & snacks this is the place to go to. It is right on Oxford Street so it can be very busy. The regular Chinese food. One can do a sit-in or do a takeaway. Convenient--and it's halal food.

China Express no es un restaurante de clase, así que los dueños no intente hacerlo. Es un popular restaurante de la calle Oxford. La comida aquí es ideal para cualquiera que tiene prisa y necesita comer algo rápido. Carne Halal se sirve aquí. Hay un área limpia de asientos que tiene una cantina abierta como sentir.

Restaurante top em atendimento, está localizado no coração de da cidade, ideal para comida rápida, gente bacana, a comida é boa. Recomendo

We visited China express on a Friday afternoon. Externally, the store is decent, but there are a few random signs. Sadly, one of them read "cash only" which is slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, we popped across the road for a cashpoint and returned.The selection is varied, but is invariably served in takeaway packaging. We all received good portions. Our food smelt, looked and tasted fantastic. I am not usually a fan of chinese food, but was pleasantly surprised. The low prices are also a bonus.Also, China Express serves halal meat, which is a major selling point for me, and many others too. If you dont eat halal, it certainly shouldnt bother you :)In essence, I really liked China Express and recommend it.

Went here randomly. Picked the lamb rib, sweet and sour and noodles. I can't tell you enough how amazing it tastes, if you want to experience it at its best go at 12 lunch time. Fresh , hot and I couldnt fault the food. By far the best chinese take away. There is a clean seating area which has an open canteen feel, takes me back to school days. Weird pictures on the wall though. interior definately needs some work. cooking takes place downstairs so i do find myself wondering what the hygiene is like but I have never been sick from eating here, I have been sick several times eating from places like KFC so that goes to show it doesn't have to be a great brand to be clean.I eat here whenever I am in Oxford Circus or nearby. Its my go to place oh and it is Halal =)

I needed a quick meal before a language lesson when I came out of Tottenham court road and this is one of the first places I saw.Let's just say the evening after eating and whole next day was not a pretty site.I got to chicken dishes with rice.This so called restaurant should be shut down. The quality of their food and hygiene is terrible. Please stay away for your own health.

If you just want a quick meal with minimal fuss and easy on the pocket, this probably meet that need. It is probably quite close to chinese food but I wouldn't take my family there.

Great place to grab something quick and reasonable on the way home when working late. Korean BBQ and Salt and Pepper Chicken are my go to's. Not bad for a good sized box for a fiver.

Io lo adoro. Veloce, ti siedi i noodle sono ok e supereconomici. non saranno i più buoni di londra ma per gli attacchi di fame vanno benissimo!

siamo stati a mangiare qui per una rapida cena senza troppe pretese. Il cibo era molto buono, consiste in un piatto abbondante di riso alla cantonese o noodles a scelta, con l'aggiunta di 1/2/3 condimenti a seconda della grandezza del menù che vogliamo gustare. I condimenti sono vari, tutti a base di pollo cucinato in molte maniere diverse. Considerando che è principalmente un take-away l'atmosfera del locale non è delle migliori, anche se è molto pulito e ben curato. Prezzi giusti in relazione alle porzioni davvero abbondanti.

Ce restaurant est bon et pas cher. Le personnel a étaient très accueillant. Si je reviens a Londres j'y retournerais c'est sur. Pour 7 livres nous avons la grande taille avec 3 topping et une boisson. Je recommande. Et c'est hallal

Ho visto recensioni dove viene messo in risalto il fatto che il personale è stato scorbutico. Beh per noi è stato l'esatto contrario. Non parlando un ottimo inglese, diciamo che ci siamo fatti capire. Ovviamente certe cose non sono semplici da spiegare. Il perosnale è stato talmente cortese che ci ha fatto assaggiare prima quello che avevamo scelto per evitare che non ci piacesse. Un assaggino, ma molto utile. Io lo consiglio anche perchè con 5 sterline si mangia il riso o i noodle e 1 topping (praticamente un secondo). Con 5,50 sterline invece riso o noodle e 2 topping. In 4 gg noi ci siamo stati 2 volte..

Had some food here early evening , liked the fact you got what it said on the side , loved the noodles and I had Thai curry and 2 other chicken dishes that were really tasty, very pleasant experience

Yes, just 4 small pieces of chicken, is what I paid £5 for as I purchased a noodle dish, with just one topping of chicken in black bean sauce. After leaving this eating establishment, I went to McDonald's down the road, to actually have some protein! Sad times.

This shop used to named 'Wok in a box' but recently they have changed to 'China express'. They only serve food in paper box and located next to the Tottenham court road underground station. You can have your food by sitting there or can grab it as take away - the price is same. . Now, the food - it is yummy but you have to choose it properly. Only three types of box depends on your choice. You can choose rice or noodles then the sides and the price is - rice/noodles with 1 side is £5, rice/noodles with 2 sides are £5.50 and rice/noodles with 3 sides are £6.00. Trust me as a food shop on Oxford street - it is tasty, cheap and more than enough for one person. I love their sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, Malaysian chicken curry, chicken with black bean sauce, Vietnamese chicken etc. I love to go for the £5.50 box because the noodles already mix with vegetables and then sweet and sour chicken and a gravy based side like Malaysian chicken curry deliciously fit with it. So, next time after a tiring shopping you can sit, relax and full yourself within value by visiting them. Ohhh....they have toilets as well - so what else do you need ?

Lo sconsiglio a tutti. Il cibo era pessimo e il personale scortese. Mi sono trovata per caso a passare. Meglio comprare il confezione già pronta di cibo cinese al Morrison e farselo al microonde.
