Nice food best Chinese in the area

I ordered a chicken curry 1/2 and 1/2 with salted chilli chicken.. the chicken was rubbery the sauce was runny the rice was like porridge all stuck together.. I ended up having food poisoning worse Chinese I’ve ever had if I could give this a 0 rating I would never be back again

They used to be good but everything has been going downhill for a while. The chap who always answers the phone is very grumpy, which is never a good start. The food has always been lower quality than other places in the area, but I've been happy with that as their lower prices made it good value. Unfortunately the food quality has now deteriorated to a point it is no longer good value. Everything tastes the same, regardless of what dish is ordered, and that taste is bland across the board. It's as if they have reduced the variety of ingredients they are using. Portion sizes are also reducing. The sweet and sour chicken balls, for example, came with enough sauce to only have with about half of the balls. Finally, the guy who now takes orders, aside from being grumpy, is pretty useless. He doesn't listen, gets things wrong or misses them entirely. Overall, it is no longer acceptable quality compared with price and I'll be going elsewhere in future. Such a shame, they used to be very good!

Easily the best takeaway in the area! Food is cooked fresh to order and you can tell, very generous portions good value for money. Also good options for people with allergies, friendly staff. Would recommend!

Awful. Ordered Chicken peanut satay and chips and I was most disappointed! Chips were almost hollow no doubt refried. Chicken was dry, probably chucked in the frier and the peanut satay sauce was disgusting. Straight up water, couldn't taste any peanut. None of it tasted right and I'll be staying way away from.

Delivery 2hrs, missing food, no contact with the restaurant !

First time visit for takeaway, we will be exploring other options in the area, nothing wrong with the food, just very ordinary.

Been coming to the Prosperity for about 40 years and thankfully it hasn't changed a bit! Very clean and comfortable with proper table linen & excellent service. Really delicious food - best chinese around. Highly recommend the lunch which is very good value.
