The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

It been a lest 4 week now iv been going past it and every time it not been open 😒 as it saying on ther Website it opened at 16.30 to 23.00 as this place been shut down do we know

I ate dry fried beef noodles for 3 consecutive days. It tasted good. The environment was good, clean and comfortable. The waiters and the boss were very polite. I will definitely patronize Li Yingguo next time.

Good fast service, great food, ordered salt and pepper chips with batter and got plain, but besides that we were very hsppy with our food.

Food is always hot and delicious.

Delivery out of there range but still went out of the way to deliver excellent food 45mins after ordering a1 guys had delivery spot on delivery driver a1 offered her a tip and she didn't take it Very polite

I had lunch at Shan Shui a lot of times. I recommend their King Prawn Fried Rice and Chicken Bites. Nario and Hafiz were extremely helpful, welcoming and always offer good service.

Chip buttie but came separately bread in a bag small chips £4.95 rather pricey I think

We visited here for our wedding anniversary meal as we had been gifted a voucher. We were disappointed to say the least. We were seated with 3 other couples/friends and then 2 very large parties. The room was so loud we couldn't have a conversation and so cramped that I felt very claustrophobic. The food was underwhelming with very little sauce in each dish. My husband ate his rice dry as there wasn't enough sauce in his dish and my duck came with a side of sauce that was barely enough to drizzle over. We found the same problem with the dessert too, it was meant to be warm chocolate sponge with chocolate sauce and on the menu said (worth a try) let me tell you, it's not worth a try. Barely warmed and quite dry with only a drizzle of sauce on the plate. The staff were rushed off their feet and I can only praise them for their service in this environment but as said in other reviews it's very speedy service to the point where you feel rushed. As it was so busy and claustrophobic I actually didn't mind the quick service as I couldn't wait to leave which obviously isn't great, I had really wanted us to have a relaxing anniversary dinner. The staff also never came near us after serving each course so there was no opportunity to even ask for more sauce as mentioned above. It would have been nice for them to even have the curtesy to check if everything was okay rather than waiting until we had finished eating to just come and take our plates. Not once during the whole 3 course meal where we asked if everything was okay. Over all a genuinely very disappointing experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. The reason for 2 star rating and not a 1 star is because the staff deserve some sort of recognition for being able to work in such a chaotic environment.

Low quality food with rude staff, been dining for the last 12 years so sad to see this this restaurant now it’s getting shit like this.

Food was great but the service was horrific, we waited 45 mins just to get a drink

been here a couple of times before so we know a lot about the place the restaurant was more than half empty but still got asked the have booked we said no and the owner muttered something, we shown to small table near the bar they wouldnt serve me bottle of water instead charge me £2 for a small glass of water, my chicken curry was in small started bowl, just because i ask for no vegetables ,my chips were a bigger portion fare to say we wont return here, arrogant owner, very over priced main dishes for what you get, use the take a way option you get bigger portions.

We order from here most nights, it’s absolutely amazing, they take our order and say it will be around 30-40 minutes, we accept this reasonable time, and some how it comes early most of times. The food is always cooked to standard, and tastes really nice, this is by far the best Chinese I have ever had, well done Golden Bowl 🍲
