Staff & delivery are so helpful. As usual the quality of food was a 10/10 & is always always consistent. Since finding Chen’s last year I never go elsewhere else & plan to continue working my way through there menu, job well done guys! Lis x

My food arrived 2 hours after I ordered it and pretty much wasn’t worth the wait.

ordered here will never order again asked for mixed grill with no liver but got liver, the hole meal taste weird ,and on top of that 1 hour 45 to deliver, it's like ordering a takeaway from temu.

I was lucky someone could collect on my behalf. I discovered chens mid nov & order weekly since. The food is great quality, consistently & portion size. If you’re looking for some Chinese food, give it a try, you wont be disappointed I promise

Hot fresh delicious food as always

Placed an order for a delivery and although the wait time was long, the order was delivered on time. All the food was piping hot, the portion sizes were massive and it all tasted lovely! Will one hundred percent be ordering again in the not so distant future!

Food was lovely and understand that its the saturday before christmas and very busy. Cheers have a nice christmas

Terrible rude sent wrong food and told me my order was wrong food was cold rang and was hung up on AVOID !!

As always a gorgeous food. My only problem/issue is if you’ve fried some lovely then package it styrofoam then wrap tight paper, by the time they arrive most covering is off. The chippy where I used to live, would cut a corner off & not cover with paper. They were all crispy

I love Chens food I'm always ordering from them if I want Chinese. Delivery is always on time never late. Driver is always pleasant and friendly. He waits patiently til I answer the door.

food was okay, bit disappointed that the salt and pepper shredded beef was just covered with powdered seasoning and had some onions under it, over 2 hours from ordering before it arrived but it did arrive hot and did taste nice

Food is good if it gets to you. This is my go to chippy if I'm collecting the food myself. Chinese food is excellent and the chips are always well cooked with generous portions, however if you choose to have it delivered then problems arise. Orders being cancelled have occurred more than once and food arriving much later than stated frequently. Also the delivery guy is very unnerving, doesn't say anything or make eye contact just basically shoves your food at you.

If I could have left no stars I would have. The worst food I have ever had. Our usual place was closed so thought we’d try somewhere new - gutted! Stale prawn crackers, nuggets were rock hard and over cooked, vegetarian meal was 90% bean sprouts, soggy broccoli and brown water. The portion of salt n pepper chips didn’t even stretch between 2 people and was just covered in the Chinese salt n pepper flavouring. I could go on but what a waste of over £30. Avoid!

The delivery was over an hour late and all they said was that they were busy . Not good enough

1st time using chens & it will be my go to from now on. Food arrived fresh, hot & delicious. they had even read the notes to. Credit were credit is due. In my opinion forget looking & searching around for a takeaway, just use CHENS YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED it’s easy a 10/10 & next time I order it will be chens I will be back soon. Job Well Done guys, thank you

Food was very tasty. Great portion sizes for appetisers. Food was late, however we did order on a Saturday night which is a busy time

Soup and char Sui bao were very tasty. Unfortunately S&P chips, S&P chicken and spring rolls were of poor quality. Not salt & pepper but rather on a bed of warm onions. Spring rolls were quite pale and could have done with being cooked for longer. Overall disappointing, sorry

Lovely food and great staff we’ve been going to Chens for over 10 years and never had an issue.

The salt and pepper chicken had no chicken it was just batter fried so was not worth the money. Also just full of onions so not great.

Meals very watery. Spring rolls chewy and chips dry. Only thing enjoyable was my son’s fish. First and last time ordering from here

Used to order all the time but moved away. Literally gutted. Fried rice actually tasted burnt. Salt and pepper just tasted of not fresh onions and no flavour. Just bland. Gutted

Tasty and hot and delivered when it said. It was a wait til delivery but time given was accurate. It was a nice surprise to be able to order a smaller portion and also to find somewhere that had decent curry sauce. So many places now have strong dark powdery sauce. Would order again. Thank you.

As usual the food was piping hot and delicious

beef black bean was watery and tasteless but special fried rice was ok. Forgot to put the can of drink in. Disappointed.

Bad iteration of salt and pepper, onions and tub of seasoning rather than real S&P. Shredded chicken needs to be changed it’s really bad. Delivery almost 3 hours I get it was nye but it was ordered around 6pm shame really

Food wasn’t hot, an hour after eating and 2 out of 4 of us are feeling sickly, regretting ordering and won’t be ordering again from here

Late delivery which is annoying considering I ordered at 5.15pm and it was estimated to be delivered between 6.10-6.30 and was still late. Soup is very sweet and the crispy chilli beef was in loads of watery sauce and tastes a bit burnt. The rice does a bit as well. Really disappointed to be honest.

Food was rubbish- rice was cold and so was prawn crackers. We waited two hours and had to call twice. Not happy about it

Food was disgusting. Delivery driver acted like he had the worst job in the world. Will not eat here again.

So so disappointing. Salt n pepper chicken so so out it was so chewy & hard to eat. The Beef chow mein was actually beef vermicelli again lacking in flavour. Highly doubt will ever order again. Waste of money for food to end up in bin. So disappointing.

Although the delivery was early the food was disgusting. I paid for drinks didn’t get them. Paid for poached eggs got hard boiled. Paid for pasta salad go some chicken an cucumber in a box. Rang an spoke to a lad not helpful at all. Never again

Food was cold on arrival very disappointed !!! Prawn toast rubbery! The most annoying thing was that everything was freezing Certainly won’t be ordering again

Both soups were really lovely. But…Prawn crackers were chewy and stale. Both mains were really gloopy. The crispy beef was awful. Really chewy, way too much sauce and the sauce tasted like gravy with brown sauce in it. Couldn’t eat it.

Always love the food. Delivery timeframe changed once I placed the order but I was okay to wait. My drinks were missing :( But- the food was amazing and I am thankful for the free prawn crackers :)
