The best restaurants serving British food in Martletwy Pembrokeshire West Wales

Possibly the worst lunch I have ever had and certainly the worst service. The barman appeared after being called to 3 parties at the bar - then said he could only take cash resulting in some leaving. The place wasn't full but we still had a considerable wait for out lunch which was cold! The meat was dry, neither of us ate the pigs in blankets as tainted. The roast potatoes were cremated, again didn't eat them and the veg looked as if it had sat under a lamp for hours, shrivelled peas, Brussels and carrots. The beans and swede were ok. 3 types of potato on a meal - why? I certainly left hungry as there wasn't much that was edible.

Lovely courtyard cafe/ restaurant. The setting is idyllic and the food really unusual, lots of beautifully prepared salads and other dishes, the colours alone were a joy to behold. Everything was so fresh, we really enjoyed our lunch and will certainly return.

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and it was near to end of service and the food was delicious - could not fault anything! I like the way you have a sheet to tick off what you want on your plate and next thing it’s on the table and hot as well - definitely recommend it 😁

The wild cafe is lovely for kids with the music and scenery around etc and tv cwtch to keep them entertained, menu short for Lunch usual basic stuff- nice food tho and huge portions! Jacket potatoes always taste old tho as If they’ve been standing or reheated.. morning staff weren’t keen on offering a breakfast said if was closed but online it said until 10.30 maybe it hadn’t been updated online but the boys behind the bar just seemed like they couldn’t be asked so we left it, a nice woman tried to offer us a alternative but it had already put me off at the fact they couldn’t be asked

Valentines Eve Dinner Breakfast 'stuff' left out on the side tables No atmosphere what so ever and no mention of valentines day bar the cheap printed menu Grunge style waitresses with unkempt hair and seriously downtime outfits totally inappropriate for this kind of place. No style no finesse such a shame when the venue is really quite special 35 mins wait for 1st course to arrive No bread, no crudités Terribly mediocre food No condiments No table cloths, table left dirty No glasses cleared away 2 courses both had components missing had to tell waitress That lot cost around 130.00
