Didn’t bother to order, rip off prices for starters, uncovered Welsh cakes on the counter for everyone to sneeze over, tempting tatt for sale in the doorway, little one was sad we didn’t purchase it! Nice spot but that was all

Food arrived quickly but it was cold. Mixed grill was absolutely tiny. I wasn't expecting much as it's just like a cheap food chain but it was mediocre at best. Don't think I'd return again personally if we stayed again. Maybe for a drink as its a nice venue but not for food.

Don’t get me wrong, the bloke who runs it seems genuinely lovely and very accommodating. We popped in on a whim, a bit hesitant at first because of some of the reviews we’d seen, but honestly—it’s not quite what the reviews make it out to be. It’s a lovely, mediocre little place (and I mean that in the nicest way). Nothing fancy, but it has its own charm, and the welcoming host makes a big difference. I had the breakfast. It was a little on the greasy side, but then again, that’s pretty expected with a fry-up. The sausages weren’t quite to my taste—more like something you'd get from a chip shop—but that’s just personal preference. Overall, it was decent. Not the best, not the worst—just a solid little stop if you're in the area and fancy something simple.
