Fabulous food, best vegetarian food ever. Accommodation was excellent and Asian and Mike could not have been more helpful. We are definitely going to return. Ian and Janice.

It is a couple of years since we have visited the Amroth Arms - we recall having good food there - we weren’t disappointed on our return! The gammon, steak and especially the lasagna were exceptional. Good portions served in a friendly manner ~ two of us had the old fashioned sherry trifle - you could actually taste the sherry! We enjoyed it so much we wanted to bring our families there (7 adults) but as they were not taking any booking - just adhoc drop ins - and we could not guarantee a table - they missed out on business and we missed out on delicious food - such a shame.

Had takeaway fish and chips. Ordered two fish n chips. 2 sausage N chips and kids chicken bites n chips. Prices are fair to be honest. Service was friendly and very good. Chips were utterly perfect! Battered fish a good size and batter was crispy not soggy. Very tasty and NO BONES AT ALL! Sausages good with no gristle and all piping hot. The ONLY gripe was there are only 3 chicken bites with the kids meal which is a shame as most places do 5 or more. They aren't massive either. But they are very very tasty! My daughter loved them! But 3 was a little disappointing. All in all we highly recommend this little gem at Amroth. You won't be disappointed with the service or the quality as both are fabulous. Just a bit tight on the kids chicken nibbly bits. Definitely will return. Big thumbs up

The Bothy Tea Room were an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Situated at the Colby Woodland Gardens, what set the tearooms apart from typical cafés at National Trust grounds was the array of loose leaf teas on the menu. There were some delightful-sounding herbal brews, of which we only time to try one, in addition to their black tea house blend. All teas and cakes were served in bone china, which made the tea-drinking experience truly decadent. There was a good freshly-baked cake selection too, which perfectly complemented their teas. For a tea and cake-focussed room, they had some surprisingly inventive bread rolls and baguettes, too. Service was polite and helpful, and the staff managed well during the busy time we visited. Located at the Colby Woodland Gardens, the location was perfect for lunch during the middle or at the end of a walk. It does become very busy during the middle of the day, though. There is a little indoor seating, with many more benches outside. We were delighted to have lunch and tea here, and would fully recommend it!

More of a seaside bar than a pub, food all day is a big bonus. Good choice of food, including basic pub food and Thai curries, so all the family were happy. A bit noisy on the Saturday night we visited, but liked it enough that we went again midweek and was a bit more laid back, but still busy due to a quiz night (think it's bingo on Tues, quiz on Wed). Good service. Got the impression that inside was mainly locals, but as tourists we were welcomed in along with many others sitting outside enjoying the last of the sun and the view of the sea.
