Fabulous food, best vegetarian food ever. Accommodation was excellent and Asian and Mike could not have been more helpful. We are definitely going to return. Ian and Janice.

A bitterly cold walk along the sea front. Was glad to find a place open with a friendly welcome and hot drinks. Many people eating and good relaxed atmosphere.

Our favourite place to eat when visiting the area. The food never disappoints and the staff are always very friendly. We tried the steak and ale pies today and they were absolutely delicious, please keep them on the menu. Another favourite is their sticky toffee pudding, the best we've ever had. Great food, good service and dog friendly, can't ask for more 10/10.

The Bothy Tea Room were an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Situated at the Colby Woodland Gardens, what set the tearooms apart from typical cafés at National Trust grounds was the array of loose leaf teas on the menu. There were some delightful-sounding herbal brews, of which we only time to try one, in addition to their black tea house blend. All teas and cakes were served in bone china, which made the tea-drinking experience truly decadent. There was a good freshly-baked cake selection too, which perfectly complemented their teas. For a tea and cake-focussed room, they had some surprisingly inventive bread rolls and baguettes, too. Service was polite and helpful, and the staff managed well during the busy time we visited. Located at the Colby Woodland Gardens, the location was perfect for lunch during the middle or at the end of a walk. It does become very busy during the middle of the day, though. There is a little indoor seating, with many more benches outside. We were delighted to have lunch and tea here, and would fully recommend it!

What a delicious Sunday dinner! we have visited twice and I almost don't want to tell you about this place as its so good I want to keep it all to myself ;-). It's not fancy or pretentious food, it's just really nice home-cooked food that tastes like something your mam made for you, and it's absolutely piping hot and reasonably priced.(There's nothing worse than a cold Sunday dinner!) The portions are massive, the veg is is well cooked. You don't really need a starter, but if you do have one, they are really tasty too. We haven't ever made it to the desserts yet, but we have seen them being served to other diners and they also look home made and delicious. One day... Also, they serve dinners all day and they accept dogs in the bar. Please don't change anything!

While staying in Amroth for the weekend we decided to go out to eat. We had our dogs with us and due to time restrictions at the Amroth Arms we were unable to take them in so decided to try The Temple Bar. Probably one of the worse meals I have had in a very long time. We both ordered fish and chips, the batter was over cooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. The fish was grey poor quality and my guess not fresh. I now understand why the bar not on the recommendations list of places to eat at our holiday cottage.
