The best restaurants serving British food in Castle Swansea South Wales

Decided to grab a bite to eat while in the market . My wife had corned beef pie chips n peas . The pie had very little corned beef in it .the peas where overcooked and discoloured.Myself had ham egg n chips .The ham was from a packet .very thin what I would call plastic ham .. egg was great nice n runny .the chips left a lot to be desired for ,not that special ...should have really sent the food back .... but will say that the food on the counter looked really nice. Will we eat in that particular car again .Nope not again ..very disappointing

The view is amazing and food is nice, however the service is a mess- we ordered starters and desserts and half of my family got the starter while the other half got the dessert first. It was really weird to eat sundae before prawn salad, and even for this service we had to wait a lot, while the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. If I go back it’s only for the view

Absolutely terrible night and spoiled a birthday celebration. Took 2 hours for half the starters and further starters came after prompting. Food was terrible chicken breast cold in centre and swimming in melted butter couldn't taste garlic! Sent it back for it to be returned absolutely cremated and inedible. Queues for drinks. Staff just going around in circles no specific waiter although head waiter nominated different staff member to settle out bill no apology or offer to reduce bill that came to £289! Wine very overpriced and seems request for wine responded to very quickly shame the food wasn't the same. Arrived at 7pm with half starters served at 9pm!! I whenever return unless management and chefs change it was really disappointing.

The ''Craft'' in the title is misleading as all you get is the cheapest mass market beers such as John Smiths and a few trendy Euro Lagers. I popped in as it's about the only traditional looking pub left in this part of the city centre which makes the dull and bland interior just like any other city centre chain pub takeover. As with a few of this chains locations it places itself near to a Wetherspoons as if to attract it's customers into a change of scenery or add it to their daily pub crawl.

Wasn't asked what size breakfast we wanted. Ended up with a massive plate of grease . Hash browns disgusting. Bacon all fat . Eggs hard . Sausages cheap and tasteless . The most disgusting breakfast I've ever had out . Never will we go again The lady behind the counter seemed I a huge rush to get us ordered and ordered us over to a certain table Stay away . Go somewhere else .

Terrible service ,waited fifteen minutes to be served drinks which were overpriced. Then asked a waitress to take our order and was told they had stopped service of food because the show was starting in fifty minutes and we were too late . No signs to say what time last orders for food was, not enough staff to serve drinks and a very small restaurant area was not conducive to an evening meal and show . If you want food here get there by six and you might be lucky., but I would go elsewhere.

Servicio muy muy lento. Esperé una hora en total esperando ser servido. El café no estaba demasiado ocupado y parecía haber personal adecuado alrededor. Habíamos terminado nuestros cafés, otros 20 minutos pasaron y nos estábamos levantando para cancelar nuestro pedido, ya que necesitábamos volver al aparcamiento en los siguientes 25 minutos cuando la camarera llegó con nuestra comida, un pastel de té tostado, rollo de desayuno y patatas fritas. Le expliqué que teníamos que salir ya que no tendríamos tiempo para comer y llegar al aparcamiento a tiempo. Ella era muy disculpado y se ofreció a encajonar la comida para llevar con nosotros. Sin embargo, conducir 12 millas a casa para recalentar la comida es realmente inaceptable. No volverá. El personal debe informar a los clientes del tiempo de espera previsto si tienen problemas.
