Terrible service ,waited fifteen minutes to be served drinks which were overpriced. Then asked a waitress to take our order and was told they had stopped service of food because the show was starting in fifty minutes and we were too late . No signs to say what time last orders for food was, not enough staff to serve drinks and a very small restaurant area was not conducive to an evening meal and show . If you want food here get there by six and you might be lucky., but I would go elsewhere.

Dined here on a Saturday evening with 3 friends. Food was great, waitress was lovely, we asked for the bill and at first we was just going to split it 4 ways but we noticed a Baileys on there which none of us has had, so sent the bill back. When it came back we checked it thoroughly and found other additions in total £16 had been added to an £80 bill, who was going to benefit we don't know. Really annoyed as we were just going to pay it!!! Didn't have time to complain more as we had tickets for a show but that was bang out of order. Won't be going back.

Our first trip to the revamped bar in the Grand Theatre was not very inspiring. The decor is underwhelming and suffers from the lack of any sense that we are in a theatre plus the strange addition of a lot of very fake-looking plants. The main shortcoming however is the shortage of staff at the bar. When a lot of customers are ordering tea and coffee then one person (or maybe more) shld be solely looking after that side, so that bar customers can be served separately and much more quickly. There were just 2 staff trying to cope with both coffee and drinks orders and in a word they weren't coping very well. I hopethe staffing is better for an evening performance (this was 5pm).

Me and three friends called in on a Tuesday night after hearing so much about Swansea newest restaurant, 'The Malthouse' and it did not disappoint. We were very surprised about how busy it was, seen as it was a Tuesday night and we thought that there would be a long wait on food but this was not the case. At first we were greeted by a friendly, happy and enthusiastic member of staff that showed us to our table and took a drinks order whilst we looked over the menu. Lots of fantastic options of locally sourced, fresh ingredient AND at a very reasonable price. Me and two others started off with the Aranchini Balls which were to die for and another of us had the garlic Mushrooms which he said were the best he has had. For mains I had a delightful dish of Pork belly which was cooked to perfection and came with bubble & squeak, seasoned vegetables and Gower Brewery's Smugglers cider jus which added a little bit of 'Vavavoom' to the plate. Others on the table had the Gower power burger which uses Gower Brewery's Gower Power which was a positive twist on a classic Burger. After the health portions of food, we chose the lightest dessert choice of a long list of enticing desserts, which was the locally made Gower Gelato. EVERYTHING from the friendly staff who can't do enough for you, great quality food at a reasonable price and the atmosphere created by the new decor and staff was absolutely faultless and we cannot wait to return. Thank you very much! :)

Held the company work party here. Every single person loved the food. To impress 20 people in one sitting was an accomplishment for a fussy bunch. Can not recommend this place highly enough. Service was exceptional and the setting in the restaurant’s conservatory was stunning. Will be back with friends and family.

I was looking forward to this, but am quite disappointed. No Gower Power on draught, only in bottles, served so cold you can't taste the beer! Plenty of room generally, but we've been squeezed in between two other tables like battery chicken. My elbows are almost touching the chap on the next table! Food was fine. Won't be coming here again though unless they put Gower Power on draught so I don't get gassed up, and give a reasonable amount of space to eat! Off to the pub across the road now for a draught real ale!

Had my 50th birthday party over the bank holiday weekend. Venue was great, service was excellent and food was fab with a mix of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Staff friendly and did everything to make the night a success, they even went out to buy more Kahula when they ran out! Great hosting by Josh, he made the night go swimmingly and was really friendly and organised, a great party. Thanks all 🥳

We called in for a drink one afternoon. The place was almost empty, as indeed it seems to be the majority of the time. The place is well furnished and roomy but lacks atmosphere. Not for me.

Parked here to walk to Three Cliffs Bay (£4, pay in the shop) and had planned to drive elsewhere for lunch but got back later than expected and decided to eat in the cafe instead. We each had the soup special (spiced chickpea) which was delicious (came with some white baguette slices) and half a toasted sandwich each (they allowed us to combine two from the menu which was great) - took a while to come but was very good and came with some salad leaves/coleslaw and a few crisps. Finished off with a lovely chocolate cannoli.

Fish was ok but no bigger than the other ones in the heater unit, soggy chips were ok. This is the most expensive fish/chips/curry sauce /battered sausage I’ve ever had. Friendly staff but £26.40 was not worth the cost.

Ordered a meal at this kebab house at 8.13pm Called 1.5 hours later only to be fed lots of lies about delivery driver delivered food to the wrong house Eventually had food delivered more than 2 hours after order was placed They gave me a bottle of orange for my trouble Bit of a joke really if they think that would keep me happy Food looked like it had been thrown into the box in one big rush salad didn't seem very crunchy My only advise to anyone ordering from this place is READ THE BAD REVIEWS FIRST before you order to avoid the pending disappointment Even if the food tasted good which unfortunately it didn't It came way too late to enjoy it Shop owner didn't seem to care as he already had my money I WILL NOT dare order from this place again I may as well just throw my money at a big bag of sweets and waste my money in a delicious way
