Absolutely outstanding meal with amazing staff in a beautifully set restaurant.I don't think it'll be long til we are back.

Have stopped here for coffee a few times after meetings with a local business. Really friendly service and good coffee.

I have never written a one star review for a restaurant before. However on our visit to the Old Loans going in the doors to the restaurant there was a strong smell of building materials as they are renovating the area. We sat down to the noise of hammering in the background (6.30pm). If we had been by ourselves we would have walked out but were meeting friends. I was embarrassed as I had booked this. We made our concerns known to management. We were told we should have been informed by the booking staff, but were not. The food was lovely as ever but avoid until this work is complete unless you like the building site vibe.

Food was worst I’ve ever had. I had pesto chicken sandwich. It was an open sandwich on the smallest piece of bread. Bread was stale and chicken was dry. It came 10 minutes after everyone else’s in our group.

just had a meal for two we ordered soup that was was stone cold then Yorkshire pudding also cold the plates were warmer than the food which was not cooked right the table were filthy and all the time we were there not one table was cleaned this is the worst place i have ever had a meal if you want Corona Virus this is were you would get it the place is filthy and should be investigate by the health and safety even flies were flying about also they know how to charge for rubbish food i for one will never go to this dirty place again so what i would say stay clear of this place

Stopped here fir dinner as parked the lorry here for the night. Had haddock and the mixed grill. Food was good, staff friendly and fun. Ross looked after us, kept us laughing and made the visit enjoyable. Ross... you should be a chippendale!! Great pub!! Will be back in the morning for our breakfast before heading back to Kent.
