Live locally but had never visited until a friend recommended here. We were not disappointed. The lasagne was tasty and fresh and my husband enjoyed the steak pie. The lady (owner, I think) was friendly when we arrived and lovely and chatty with our children. Great choice of cakes and the coconut cake was lovely. Very reasonable and a great find of a place.

Have eaten here a number of times but never written a review. My wife and I went for dinner last Sunday. We had lovely lentil soup to start with, and we both picked the steak pie for mains, it was delicious, full of flavour along with chips n peas. Good honest fare, decent portions well presented. The owner and her staff make you feel very welcome, and kids are very welcome.

We've been eating here for a few years now and it's been a family favourite. I'm afraid it's just not special enough anymore to justify the journey . We live 30 miles away but we're happy to drive that distance in the past. There have been too many changes and the things my family loved have been stripped away. Prawn crackers with the chicken curry- no more. No garlic bread for the kids, very minimal breakfast options, few choices of juices. It's not a good idea to mess with something that works.

Enjoyed our meals. Between us we had lasagne, steak pie and gammon steak. All were agreed that the food was good.

Dropped in here for lunch to see how it has changed over the years. Very pleasant staff and a relaxed informal atmosphere. Parking spaces near by and a sign up on the main road to catch the eye of passers by would might not expect a cafe in amongst this old nylon plant complex. The food was fine and the prices were cheap with a menu covering the usual favourites and a soup of the day. Lots of big lorries trundling by and not exactly the nicest of views as it is set down amongst the plant buildings. The decor is a bit 'living room-like' and that adds to the pleasant atmosphere of this popular eaterie.

Have driven past this place countless times but decided to give it a try and what a surprise it was. The place is nothing fancy ( I remember it being the security check point for the old Monsanto plant many years ago )but it's clean and welcoming. Service is super friendly, the menu is extensive and offers great value. The milky coffee was a treat and washed down a very tasty cheeseburger and an equally nice malteser traybake. If you want service, value and good food in abundance Cafe Razelle is the place to go.

This little diner in Dundonald isn't big but the service is Mega !! Always a smile and friendly hello as you enter and also when you leave. Multiple choices on the menu. Have had everything on it over the years and never had a bad meal yet. The best Razzle Dazzle and Banana Boat. Might not be 5 Star on the outside but friendly staff are on the inside !!

my friend and I were out cycling on Sunday morning and decided that we deserved a hot cup of tea and a goody. the welcome we got from the staff was outstanding, we were served the tea in a mug and I have to say it was very uplifting to say the least - brilliant. we got a couple of cakes to half and enjoyed a bit of friendly banter with the guy behind the counter. It was like a home from home and we will definitely be returning. thanks for the extra tea cakes you gave us "for energy" :)

I visited Cafe Razelle yesterday with my 3 year old son and my dad and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cafe is a small diner and takeaway in an industrial estate near Dundonald and if you don't know it's there you could easily miss it. I'd advise you to look out for it and pay it a visit as it is a little gem.The service is friendly and quick and the food lovely and very good value. I had chicken curry with half rice and half chips and it was great. A very big portion and only 6.95. My dad had fish and chips which was really generous and it came with salad but also a seperate dish of peas and carrots. My mug of tea was great as they brought a pot of tea so I really had two full mugs. I will be going back again very soon as my older kids who are 8 and 10 want to go as they loved it the first time We visited a few months ago.
