It is a wonderful and unique Bed & Breakpast. Led by its owner, a strong, inspiring and energetic woman. The place is wonderful, surrounded by nature and in an enclave of tranquility. An unforgettable peace is felt inside. The room was beautiful, the entire house is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Its owner is very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and she always has very good suggestions. She is clearly a lover of nature and practices sustainability in establishing it. El lugar es maravilloso, rodeado de naturaleza y en un enclave de tranquilidad. Se siente una paz inolvidable dentro. La habitación era preciosa, toda la casa está cuidada hasta el más mínimo detalle. Su propietaria es muy amable, conocedora de la zona y siempre tiene muy buenas sugerencias. Es claramente una amante de la naturaleza y pone en práctica la sostenibilidad en su establecimiento. Lo recomiendo al máximo y sin lugar a dudas volveré.

Exceptional food and such a lovely welcome from the waiter and waitress. Friendly from start to finish. Food was delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

We enjoyed a really good lunch here. The food was excellent, as was the service - both friendly and efficient. Overall we couldn't fault the experience.

Have been to this hotel twice this month and both times have been amazing. First time was for their Steak Night which was great value for money. The steak was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. And we got 5 star service. Then the second time I had a takeaway Roast Beef Dinner I felt I was in their restaurant when I dished it up it was still hot and delicious. I recommend their amazing food. Compliments to the chef's. I will be returning and have recommended this place to my friends and family.

We arrived and were left for 5 minutes standing at the door waiting to be seated with waiters & waitresses walking passed us a good few times but not acknowledging us at all. After looking at the menu and specials board we asked if there was a roast available today (Sunday) to be told no, maybe next week. We ordered and after our meal was finished again we waited a good 20+ minutes with no one clearing our plates or asking if we would like dessert. Eventually I stopped a waiter who was walking by to ask if we could order a dessert and felt like we were putting him out. Overall it was very poor service and not once did anyone ask if we were ok or needed anything. We have previously been to Crofters quite a few times and always had a positive experience so hopefully this was just an off day as the staff didn’t seem to want to be there today.

This restaurant was really excellent previously . However, Hogmanay dinner/New Year dinner was extremely disappointing. Felt sorry for the Europeans from non uk countries expecting a Hogmanay experience. Food extremely sub par. No management. Was not offered dessert.

We stayed in Cromarty for the last week in June and thoroughly enjoyed it. We dined here on our first night (a Saturday), which was very busy, but the service and food were fine. Our last night was a Friday and it was very quiet. We both liked the specials. Val chose scallops followed by chicken, while I stayed with the specials and had mussels followed by scallops. When my main course of scallops arrived (£18) they seemed to be the same helping size as Val's scallop starter (£12). I asked Val, if I was right. She agreed. The young waitress overheard and chipped in, 'No, you have two extra scallops she assured me. WHAT £6 for two extra scallops! The owner overheard and stepped in to 'sort' it. We did not expect this in Cromarty of all places. BE CAREFUL!

Gem of a pub, perfect place to hide from the rain, or just take the weight off your feet! Spent a lovely couple of hours here chatting to fellow holiday makers and the owner! Currently no food served, but we can confirm they do pour a cracking pint

Always ordered from here over the last 5 years only ever had a problem once which was rectified with a new order sent as replacement, the food is always good the chicken fillet burgers are amazing! My son says the kebabs are the best in the area!
