What an awesome venue - someone described as a "wee bit small" - hell yeah - that's the beauty of it - great sound, great gigs, great staff behind the bar - get in to the gig area early or risk being behind a 6ft nutter waving their arms about in a frenzy - but get to the front and whoa - you are shaking hands with the star of the evening - soooooo personal its freakish but like in a great way. We saw David McAlmont & Hifi Sean and frankly I now feel like I know them both - we were practically on stage. And here's the real crazy bit - the venue doesn't rip you off - we were £18 each to see a global megastar!!!! AWESOME.

What a little Gem this hotel is. Perfect location, very comfortable quiet room - loved the tartan decor. Staff warm and helpful. Enjoyed dinner in their lovely little restaurant. Far exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

Brilliant blues club with good drinks. Had a group of 7 people there and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Always a superb meal at the shakk. Recently went to the newly refurbished finnieston location and had a great time. Restaurant really has a good San Sebastián feel to it. Can’t wait to come back

We had a lovely dinner experience last night - excellent food, and wonderful attentive service headed by Esther. Definitely recommend and will return next time in Glasgow!

My family and I have been in a couple of times now and on our 2nd visit the staff remembered us and the hot drinks we'd had on our 1st. On both visits I noticed that everyone who came in were given a similar welcome making for a friendly atmosphere, the staff are top notch. Now to the food .... fresh, delicious and reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend.
