The best service and best food at the price bar none. Whether it's a breakfast roll and coffee or a lunchtime sandwich and hot drink, the food is always fresh, plentiful and affordable. Greggs staff team are the consistently cheeriest people, always a bonus.

My partner and I ate in the bar area on Friday night. Food was great, service friendly and helpful and the place had a really nice vibe.

All very well. Hotel absolutely worthy of the reviews read to date. Super friendly staff. Everyone, absolutely everyone, was kind, helpful and smiling. Including Massimo who works at night. Despite leaving at 4 in the morning he provided me with an excellent breakfast and it was top. Cozy rooms, with all comforts. TV with Netflix connected. Hot shower with perfect jet. Catering: I normally never have dinner in a hotel. But in this case, having stayed for a corporate event, they ate 3 dinners. One better than the other. Nice and plentiful dishes. Also in this case everything is top notch. I recommend Mark the maître. Quick, smiling and lively. The breakfast was also really excellent. So what can I say... I hope to return soon for the next company event.

Fabulous food as usual. Excellent quality, service and value. Great location and easily accessible. Could be so much more expensive than what it is considering the standard of food.

Full vegan, Gluten free menu and dairy free cakes, what not to like? As someone who isn’t vegan but dairy and egg intolerant, this is such a great wee cafe that I wish I’d found sooner. I really do hope the community continue to support this local business.

Tomato soup not very good. Watery Otherwise good late Xmas lunch.

Fantástico, servicio amable, grandes áreas de estar cómodas. Sin embargo, la comida fue un fracaso - proporciones muy pequeñas y de tamaño extraño (nunca había visto pan cortado tan delgado! ) y el sabor no es genial.

¡Acabo de recibir un correo electrónico diciéndonos que a partir del 5 de julio el Castillo de Newton Mearns se convertirá en un restaurante exclusivo para "residentes"! ¡GRAN DECEPCIÓN! Hemos sido comensales allí durante años a pesar de haber varios más cerca, El personal es excelente, amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, Vamos a extrañar este restaurante y no se ve la razón económica!

Not as clean as one would hope when dining after a walk around the park on a lovely winter day. Okay service from teens. Fish and chips were filling and my coffee was surprisingly excellent.

Vamos a Caulders en Newton Mearns generalmente para almorzar. Fuimos hoy y aunque fue agradable hay que decir que los pasteles han tomado un giro hacia abajo. Siempre sentimos que los pasteles eran caseros y muy agradables los de hoy fueron decepcionantes. Ambos sentimos que sabían procesado y sintético y no todo eso agradable. Definitivamente no está a la altura de su estándar habitual. Una verdadera lástima, ya que siempre esperamos con ansias la cocción en casa

Can't understand the good reviews, unless we were very unlucky. Firstly, on a positive note, the staff were lovely, very attentive and welcoming. No issues at all. Both my brother and I opted for a Scottish breakfast. Served one of each, bacon, potato scone, square sausage and fried egg, with toast. The only thing that got pass marks was the toast. Nice. Everything else was anemic. The potato scone looked like it was dipped in oil and served. Bacon had barely seen the pan/grill as was the sausage. Just disappointing. And at £8.00/head, not good value either.
