The best restaurants serving British food in Ridge North Lincolnshire Yorkshire and The Humber

Extremely friendly staff who were genuinely pleased to see us. Easy to read menu that wasn't overcrowded with standard pub fayre. All 4 of us were very pleased with the quality and quantity of the meals. Nothing was too much trouble from asking for over cooked veg, swapping chips for smashed potatoes, to extra hot tea. The staff ensured we were all happy.

charlotte and luke are doing a great job. always welcoming with a smile and a chat. the bar staff are great and pull a great pint (especially guiness). karaoke and disco nights always a laugh. just what it needed!

The phone number is defunct and the venue is completely shut despite it being in the middle of their published hours. I suspect that it has closed down.

Visited with friends for lunch. Meal was OK,but received no milk with hot drinks. Went to ask for some, staff didn't speak,seemed quite disgruntled about it. Lots of tables were not cleared during our time there,including ours. Cakes very over priced,so didn't purchase. £3.99 for a small brownie,£2.99 for a small egg custard. Won't be rushing back. Think they need to employ more staff at lunchtime.

Great food and a top atmosphere. Nice busy bustling pub.

20 plus of us go 6/7 a year for a breakfast prior to fishing at Messingham Sands , never heard one complaint. Great value and service.

Very poor service had to wait litterally 45 mins for our soup starter. Which had changed from the original flavor we opted for. As did the pie of the day main. Which made us change to scampi. Very few staff really stretched. The food " when we eventually got it " was ok nothing special. But what was special and up to speed was the amount they charged. Definitely not lacking in that department. All in all a 5 out of 10 at best. I would advise to drive straight past.
