You cant beat the quality of the food here, During lockdown deliveries were made with no extra charge for delivery.

A menudo viajamos a Otley solo para visitar este pequeño y popular snack bar para desayunar. Es muy pintoresco, con vajilla y cubertería desiguales. Se siente como si estuvieras en la casa del propietario, que es como si estuvieras. El desayuno siempre viene caliente con la opción de tostadas o pan frito a un lado. El propietario también tiene un puesto al aire libre que vende libros, rompecabezas y otros accesorios: los ingresos se destinan a la ambulancia aérea de Yorkshire. Solo hay alrededor de 8 mesas, pero a menudo hemos llegado con el lugar lleno de locales. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar para un desayuno abundante antes de experimentar una visita a Otley.

Do not go to this cafe this cafe has been shut since covid. I did a mountaineering job to get to this cafe today and it's flipping well shut.

Nos encanta un Steak & Ale Pie, así que lo elegimos del menú. El vellocino tiene una impresionante zona de comer y beber al aire libre que corre hasta el río. Sentado junto a las ventanas de arriba lo miraba hacia abajo. Cuidado en todo momento por Zara, que aseguró que éramos felices. La comida valía la pena esperar, absolutley delicioso. Sabroso salsa, con grandes trozos de carne. Grandes porciones. Volveré.

This was my first visit to Whitakers Arms where i decided to visit Otley for the day, i received a warm welcome when i arrived, staff very friendly and was very satisficed with the Burger and chips. i will look forward to going again in three weeks time when i next have time off work. Well worth visiting and very recommendable. Alex

On a wet dark morning on our first visit to Otley we came across this lovely cafe. You could enter it from both ends and plenty of room if you have a pram/ wheelchair etc We found this little cafe to be a friendly welcoming place and the lady and young man in the kitchen were lovely The toasted tea cake arrived really buttery just as I like it and the hot chocolate with cream marshmallows and sprinkles was very nice. The sausage bap was very nice also Toilets upstairs here Would definitely return Thank you

I met my good friend Suttie here for a bit of breakfast. What a brilliant, cosy and vibrant cafe this is. Suttie and I were devastated when our favourite cafe in Otley, Sift, closed down a few months ago. This hit Suttie harder than me, as she went to Sift at least once a fortnight. However, it looks like Joy's has filled a hole in our hearts. It's dog friendly, which would be fantastic if I had a dog. I had a full English breakfast but swapped the bacon for a hash brown because as a general rule I don't eat bacon if it isn't in a sandwich or a carbonara. I thought it was quite tasty, if a tad on the pricey side but I wouldn't expect anything cheaper than a tenner in this day and age. I was a bit disappointed by the small portion of baked beans, but otherwise I was left satisfied and content. Lovely location and staff too.

Presented nicely but fish was very clearly old. Wasn't eatable. First time I tried I won't be back.

First visit, although walked around Yeadon Tarn hundreds of times, the food was the best we’ve had in a long time. Recommend the White Swan.

Llamé para almorzar con mi amiga y su perro, ambiente encantador muy agradable para los perros y acogedor. El café era absolutamente precioso, así como el almuerzo. Tomé la sopa casera que estaba deliciosa, así como el pan tostado de mi amiga y la flora disfrutó de su salchicha! Sin duda volveré a visitar pronto.

Good selection of food. Can stay as long as you like. Food place to meet friends for food / drinks.

Elegí este café porque era agradable una tranquilidad. El pastel y el té eran agradables, pero sirven el pastel en papel a prueba de grasa! Le pregunté por qué no usaban platos y la camarera no lo sabía. El dueño estaba allí y escuchó mis comentarios, pero no dijo nada... muy extraño. ¡Qué desperdicio de papel! También muy caro. . £ 7. 05 para un té y una rodaja de pequeño pastel de limón. El café estaba vacío... ¡no me extraña! Una cosa tan simple haría prosperar su negocio... ¡placas! Pero parece que a pesar de que revisiones anteriores han mencionado negativamente la falta de placas, están decididos a continuar con el papel a prueba de grasa. Qué lástima que sea un agradable café tranquilo... pero no volveré allí.
