I met my good friend Suttie here for a bit of breakfast. What a brilliant, cosy and vibrant cafe this is. Suttie and I were devastated when our favourite cafe in Otley, Sift, closed down a few months ago. This hit Suttie harder than me, as she went to Sift at least once a fortnight. However, it looks like Joy's has filled a hole in our hearts. It's dog friendly, which would be fantastic if I had a dog. I had a full English breakfast but swapped the bacon for a hash brown because as a general rule I don't eat bacon if it isn't in a sandwich or a carbonara. I thought it was quite tasty, if a tad on the pricey side but I wouldn't expect anything cheaper than a tenner in this day and age. I was a bit disappointed by the small portion of baked beans, but otherwise I was left satisfied and content. Lovely location and staff too.

Arrived early this morning as the first eaters - the breakfast was seriously impressive - everything cooked to perfection and managing the place single handed until a second chap arrived a little later.

Good food at good prices, I love the soup & sandwich the latter is excellent- I always have this combo when available. Nice for the dog friendly attitude, I come here most weeks. Also good for veggie/vegan options.

This is a great little place, extremely dog friendly. We love going to otley for a potter but we have to take our dog as it’s an hour away. I searched for dog friendly cafés and this place popped up. Nicely laid out, hooks under the table to secure your dog to so no trying to wrap the lead round a chair leg. We had late lunch but they still had breakfast options available which was fab as my daughter is asd and very picky with food so her bacon sandwich in tiger bread went down very well. If I could say one thing was it need 3 rashers not 2. I had eggs royale which was delicious too and husband had bacon and sausage sandwich. Coffee was really good and well made. We will definitely be back, we both said on leaving that it’s more of an incentive to visit otley again sooner.

OK, so I called in here following a recommendation from a friend and been a massive fan of Darkwoods Coffee blend. Overall, it was a really nice snug location, staff freindly if not a little distant, a little smile would suffice. I ordered my coffee and asked for my milk in the coffee first, but they forgot and left it on the side, not to worry. The cakes really sell the place, delicious is not the easy word, they were amazing, really complimented the coffee. Deed recommend a visit if your in the area.

Lovely food, unfortunately just the poor service that lets it down 😣 We were not greeted on arrival, nor made to feel welcome although the place was completely empty when we arrived. Staff were more interested in chatting amongst themselves in the kitchen. Only positive highlight was water was offered for my dog 🐾

Me and my family, including our pup we’re in Otley over the Easter break, the weather was dismal and rainy but we managed to stumble across Joys Coffee House, the exterior was cheery and welcoming and the inside just as cosy, the staff were all friendly and made a fuss of Agnes (the pup) too. Cakes and coffee was lovely. Next time we’ll stop for lunch as the meals we saw being served looks delicious too.

A cosy, dog friendly café with delicious food. My halloumi and avocado bagel was the best I’ve had. There is even a dog menu and the dog hooks are very useful. Friendly service and good value.

Best fried egg north of the Severn Estuary! Recently moved to Somerset but wanted to show off my Leeds credentials to my other half. Tribeca City Cafe fulfilled all expectations with a superb full English breakfast and coffees to match, all served promptly with refined professionalism. Had a friendly chat with the owner who definitely deserves your custom if you're anywhere nearby. If you can find your way to the magnificent Leeds Town Hall then this superb basement gem of a cafe is only a few yards away. Extra tables at street level also if the sun shines. You won't be disappointed!

Excellent as always. Can't think of anywhere better to stop on a long journey home. Only a small detour from the A1. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Both website and Google maps advises it’s open at 07:00, yet popped along at 7:15 and was unclear it was ever going to open again.
