Myself and a friend visited yesterday afternoon for tapas and a drink, after an autumn walk, it was our first visit since the management changed. We thoroughly enjoyed our tapas, best patatas bravas and gambas pil pil ever! We treated ourselves to a shared dessert and a cocktail after - delicious! Good food, friendly staff and fair prices. We will definitely return.

My husband and I came to the post office on a friend's recommendation and we certainly weren't disappointed. The atmosphere the staff and the food were outstanding. We didn't expect it to be too busy as the weather is awful at the moment. But it was quite busy but not too overwhelming. The fire was roaring which was lovely when we first entered and greeted by a lovely happy lady. We were taken to our seats and swiftly served with our drinks and food order taken. The food was out of this world. My husband had the meatball starter, beef brisket and cheesecake. I had choose your own steak 8oz fillet steak and the raspberry bakewell. Everything was cooked to perfection especially my steak. It was the best steak I have ever eaten. (Medium rare more on the rare side but beautiful). The lady that severed us couldn't do enough and was extremely polite and courteous. We can't wait to come back for another meal with the family next time. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

It’s really at the arse end of hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Miserable, demoralised staff. Bar manager permanently looked furious and was very rude to a heaving busy bar. Rather than take charge and notice who had approached the bar first, who been waiting the longest etc, she opted out with a terribly passive aggressive, “who’s next?” And allowed the customers to thrash it out amongst themselves. The bar, to be fair was knee deep in the evenings ‘clientele’. A heady cacophony of after school ‘nuggets and Koperberg for tea’ families and terrifying packs of grandmas who seemed to have walked straight out of Viz before hitting the town. Waitress staff were lovely how ever and could hold a polite conversation. Food was basic, toilets clean enough.
