Excellent food Excellent staff first class ...highly recommend

First time we have been into millers inn, we came with our family and dog as we were our on a walk and was unsure if they would allow him in. They were very welcoming of our dog who I might say is not so small (newfoundland) they gave him water and treats. With the great hospitality we decided to stick around as they had colouring etc for our children aswell, the food was lovely I had hunters chicken and kids had great kids meals that were healthy options too. I would definitely recommend millers inn wether it be from a family walk or passing by on a whim they are very friendly and family run also.

What a great place, I went with my husband and 2 children we had food it was excellent. Will definitely be visiting and eating there again! Nice family run pub just what we need!

Visited Friday early evening to meet some friends (2 other couples) to try the food, Myself and my wife were quite a bit early so we were on our second drink stood at the bar when we were told to move as standing at the bar was “ not allowed” and there were tables around the corner. I would estimate the bar to be approx 8 mts long and not one person was waiting to be served. Being an ex publican for over nine years I fully understand customers need to be served but we both thought the attitude of the staff was appalling. We could have understood if the pub was heaving but it was not, if we thought we were in the way we would have moved. Considering the pub job is on its knees I would have thought having customers in the place was a priority, stood at the bar or not.???? We immediately text or friends, went to the Crown and anchor, where you can stand at the bar, and parted with £174, had a great time. We will not darken your door again and the best of luck over the next six months of winter. Get ready for the Christmas rush that doesn’t happen any more-first hand info from three different landlords I’ve know for years

Under new management. Two brothers running business. We've been going in for last couple of months. We come away feeling like family/ friends. They bend over backwards to be helpful. A big change from old management. Well done lads. 😊

Love this place , dog friendly pub, foods basic but ok, nice little area sit out at the back , could just do with smartening up and te trees trimming, bench needs replacing. Even so , love this place

Came in today with my daughter after been told it was under new management and was told the food was good. The food wasn't good... it was amazing!!! Both steaks cooked to perfection. Good sized portions too. Would highly recommend. Friendly staff too.

Ideal for a drink and a gab with pals. It's not the Ritz mind.

Upon entering we found the barmaid about to be sick.... Great start... Ordered 2 x fresh battered fish and chips... The fish was ok... The 16 frozen chips and cold mushy peas were not..... £33 for 2 poor fish and chips and 2 pints... Won't be back....

Bar maid rude and impatient. The whole beer garden were complaining. Great pub but staff need to realise they are in the hospitality trade.

Called in for the first time on a quiet Thursday lunchtime for lunch with my Mother, Father and Grandmother. Short version is: All meals: Very good. All drinks: Very good. Service: Very good. Venue: Very good. Value: Excellent (We had a voucher that made it cheaper). Would we go again: Certainly and we will. From our experience its worth a visit.

Food not great…. Asked for rare steak it came was really thin and no pink at all…. It was well done. My mum ordered chicken and it was missing the salad. Pretty disappointed

A good little pub serving a varied menu of pub classics, grills & small bites, the mixed grill was great value for money with good quality cuts of meat but the lasagne was a typical pub lasagne and the hunters chicken was dry, one tiny piece of bacon, missing the tomato and rocket garnish as mentioned. We were the only patrons on arrival until an elderly couple came in half way through our meal. The interior is dated and the staff looking a bit scruffy and bored didn't help with the lack of atmosphere. I feel mean leaving only three stars but that's how it was when we visited for a mid February lunch. Maybe at weekends and better weather will bring more custom and higher spirits?

We stumbled upon this pub after a visit to Cannon Hall farm, and so pleased we did. Only dropped a point on atmosphere, because it was a quiet Monday lunchtime. There were five of us adults plus our grandson and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. Definitely my type of pub, it had character, and that young lady behind the bar was so friendly and attentive. Beer, wine and cider prices well under the price of our local. We would return if it was a little closer to our home, but unfortunately it isn’t, however, when we next venture to Cannon Hall farm, we will return Pretty sure, I saw a sign advertising a quiz night on a Wednesday?

Came mid afternoon for a late lunch so pub was quiet but soon got busy. We both had gammon which was lovely and tender and the chips were spot on. Lovely hot food too. Nice friendly service.

The food is Delicious and Fresh! The staff are amazing and friedly, I have been here 3 times now and I can say I will definitely be coming back. The pub is pet friendly water will be provided for your pets free of charge, recommend 100%👌

Ate here about two weeks ago. Good, old fashioned pub food at The Millers Inn. Don’t expect a bistro pub. Do expect a warm welcome and good food at reasonable prices. Can’t fault it.

I came here with my daughter and granddaughter for a meal which was excellent and hot. Unfortunately the landlord said the freezer had broken down and much food had to be thrown. This meant that some menus were unavailable,but what we had was very good and plenty of it. I would certainly recommend the Millers.

Nice atmosphere but didn't have anything in the way of vegetarian as freezer had broken. Tasty food and great service by staff.

Just had a lovley long walk then a lovley Sunday roast in here, so tasty red hot lovley yorkshires too nearly licked my plate lol , reasonably priced and a lovley portion, polite bar staff, young lady and nice people in there too thankyou definitely be back 👍

A pleasant place to have a quick meal after a day out. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Our meal was excellent and we didn't have to wait long at all. A very pleasant atmosphere to sit there. We would recommend the pub to all.

Closed due to refurbishment. No signs to say how long. One of my favourites 1mi walk has few excellent meals. Taken our 6yr grandson loves meals.

A good night as always in quiz night we were unable to win the quiz or win at play your cards but no doubt we'll try again next week.

Called in on a rainy Saturday for dinner, and was really glad that we did. Had a lovely prawn cocktail then hunters chicken and steak pie for mains. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be going back

Cannot fault the millers at all, it's a local pub that delivers everything you want from one, a good selection of drinks. A decent menu, plenty of room at the tables, situated right at side of the river which you can sit out back and take it all in. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. My wife had lasagne and I had the fish n chips which were both well cooked and tasty, although my bread and butter didn't arrive, not that I was bothered as there was plenty on the plate, staff friendly and polite. Dog friendly too. Recommended highly.

For a local low budget pub you cannot fault it. A good selection of drinks, a good menu and plenty of room at the tables, my wife had lasagne and I had the fish n chips, very generous portions for the price and very nice tasting, ( my bread n butter ) missed but didn't mind at all. Staff are polite and friendly. A very enjoyable experience 😊

We visited here today for what we thought would be a lovely meal after reading all the good reviews how wrong we was we ordered a starter which was not as described on the menu and then I ordered the steak and ale pie and what a disappointment it was it was if they had left it in the oven for hours will not be going back again

Evening spoilt by group of “adults” f ing and c ing sat a yard from the bar. Staff was listening but did nothing. Shame really, could be a lovely family pub as they welcome children and pets.

Checking out the pub that will become the 'local' once a house purchase goes through :) Love that this pub is dog friendly, and it obviously pays off - took a while to leave as there a was a decent number of customers - each group with at least one canine addition who needed a scratch. :) Food nicely cooked and presented, friendly Landlord, and a Marston's pub too, big thumbs up in my book!

Right pub. Don't be put off because its cheap, meals are plentiful and cooked well, better than the chain pubs. Cosy and friendly also dog friendly, give a go you won't be disappointed

I don't normally bother to review places but the reception I got in this pub was fantastic! The sort if place you can take your coat off and warm by the fire on a cold raining way, and feel welcome while you do. Cracking little pub!
