We were made to feel welcome, people were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

On a bike ride and thought I would nip in for a Sunday roast really nice and chilled out.

We stumbled upon this pub after a visit to Cannon Hall farm, and so pleased we did. Only dropped a point on atmosphere, because it was a quiet Monday lunchtime. There were five of us adults plus our grandson and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered. Definitely my type of pub, it had character, and that young lady behind the bar was so friendly and attentive. Beer, wine and cider prices well under the price of our local. We would return if it was a little closer to our home, but unfortunately it isn’t, however, when we next venture to Cannon Hall farm, we will return Pretty sure, I saw a sign advertising a quiz night on a Wednesday?

Came mid afternoon for a late lunch so pub was quiet but soon got busy. We both had gammon which was lovely and tender and the chips were spot on. Lovely hot food too. Nice friendly service.

The food is Delicious and Fresh! The staff are amazing and friedly, I have been here 3 times now and I can say I will definitely be coming back. The pub is pet friendly water will be provided for your pets free of charge, recommend 100%👌

Friendly little pub by the river. John and his team offer a friendly pub experience and is very welcoming to dogs which is a bonus! Food is good for a great affordable price.

Ate here about two weeks ago. Good, old fashioned pub food at The Millers Inn. Don’t expect a bistro pub. Do expect a warm welcome and good food at reasonable prices. Can’t fault it.

Myself & my partner been in for the 1st time this evening though we live locally. Nice little pub with propa grub at really good prices ( little bit gutted the mixed grill had sold out ) steak and ale was great though. See you again soon

I came here with my daughter and granddaughter for a meal which was excellent and hot. Unfortunately the landlord said the freezer had broken down and much food had to be thrown. This meant that some menus were unavailable,but what we had was very good and plenty of it. I would certainly recommend the Millers.

Nice atmosphere but didn't have anything in the way of vegetarian as freezer had broken. Tasty food and great service by staff.

Just had a lovley long walk then a lovley Sunday roast in here, so tasty red hot lovley yorkshires too nearly licked my plate lol , reasonably priced and a lovley portion, polite bar staff, young lady and nice people in there too thankyou definitely be back 👍

A pleasant place to have a quick meal after a day out. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. Our meal was excellent and we didn't have to wait long at all. A very pleasant atmosphere to sit there. We would recommend the pub to all.

Closed due to refurbishment. No signs to say how long. One of my favourites 1mi walk has few excellent meals. Taken our 6yr grandson loves meals.

A good night as always in quiz night we were unable to win the quiz or win at play your cards but no doubt we'll try again next week.

Called in on a rainy Saturday for dinner, and was really glad that we did. Had a lovely prawn cocktail then hunters chicken and steak pie for mains. Everything was perfect. We'll definitely be going back

For a local low budget pub you cannot fault it. A good selection of drinks, a good menu and plenty of room at the tables, my wife had lasagne and I had the fish n chips, very generous portions for the price and very nice tasting, ( my bread n butter ) missed but didn't mind at all. Staff are polite and friendly. A very enjoyable experience 😊

Cannot fault the millers at all, it's a local pub that delivers everything you want from one, a good selection of drinks. A decent menu, plenty of room at the tables, situated right at side of the river which you can sit out back and take it all in. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. My wife had lasagne and I had the fish n chips which were both well cooked and tasty, although my bread and butter didn't arrive, not that I was bothered as there was plenty on the plate, staff friendly and polite. Dog friendly too. Recommended highly.

We visited here today for what we thought would be a lovely meal after reading all the good reviews how wrong we was we ordered a starter which was not as described on the menu and then I ordered the steak and ale pie and what a disappointment it was it was if they had left it in the oven for hours will not be going back again

Evening spoilt by group of “adults” f ing and c ing sat a yard from the bar. Staff was listening but did nothing. Shame really, could be a lovely family pub as they welcome children and pets.

Checking out the pub that will become the 'local' once a house purchase goes through :) Love that this pub is dog friendly, and it obviously pays off - took a while to leave as there a was a decent number of customers - each group with at least one canine addition who needed a scratch. :) Food nicely cooked and presented, friendly Landlord, and a Marston's pub too, big thumbs up in my book!

Right pub. Don't be put off because its cheap, meals are plentiful and cooked well, better than the chain pubs. Cosy and friendly also dog friendly, give a go you won't be disappointed

I don't normally bother to review places but the reception I got in this pub was fantastic! The sort if place you can take your coat off and warm by the fire on a cold raining way, and feel welcome while you do. Cracking little pub!

We haven't been since lockdown and used to call with our GSD puppy, always made us welcome. Nothing has changed they still made us feel welcome and the food was fabulous. The offers on their menu make it great value too, so much better than the bigger chains that warm up their food.

We started visiting this Inn as we regularly travel past to see family over 2 years ago. Although this is a local we never felt as though we were anything but welcome. As time has gone by we made more and more stops. The food is fantastically priced and tasted wonderful. They are very accommodating with all kinds of dietary requirements. The Landlord and Landlady are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We highly recommend a visit. We now don't wait for a trip past, we go just because a 25-minute trip is worth it for the hospitality.
