I was driving past the end of the street looking for a sandwich shop. I didn't know this little gem was tucked away in Darton. Got a ham salad sandwich to go and couldn't resist a slice of cake. All delicious and excellent quality. I will definitely be back to eat in. 😊

I have visited this gorgeous little place numerous times with both family and friends. The place is very clean and a haven of tranquility, background music allows you to chat whilst you eat the tasty and well presented sandwiches, Panninis, breakfasts etc. Indulging in the beautiful home-made cakes freshly made, with a variety of teas and coffees completes the experience of this delightful ‘Jewel in the crown ‘ of small eating establishments. The staff are friendly and welcoming , Leanne and Carol make you feel at home. I look forward to my next visit soon and recommend everyone to make a trip at least once, as I am sure that you will go back for more !

Visited the cafe , Very good coffee, lovely and strong. Enjoyed our food too, tea cakes and a bacon sandwich, all very nice. The lady in charge was very friendly. A good experience will return. Plenty of antiques to look at spread over many rooms, good to gave a good look around..

Very welcoming tea room. Greeted as soon as we walked into the room. Very tidy and clean. A great choice of food. Lovely hot coffee. Two rooms upstairs, if needed. It's the first time we have been, but we will be back.

Excellent food and would definitely visit again. We ordered 2 kids cod bites meal deal and adults fish and chips and they were very tasty and freshly made to order. My fussy eater said her cod bites were that tasty she wants to eat them for breakfast, dinner and tea!

Have visited Keelings a couple of times since recently moving to the Kingstone area. Very good quality fish and chips, done properly. The batter is crispy and light, and fish is cooked fresh upon entry. Portion sizes are generous and for £7 you really can't go wrong for value. Owner and staff are really friendly and seem like genuine nice people. Thanks guys!

We have visited this restaurant many times over the past 20 years and have always had impeccable service and exceptional food in a beautiful setting. It was always a special treat for us and highly regarded by friends and family. I am aware of the recent change of ownership. Things have certainly changed here and not for the better. No table cloths, paper napkins, slate mats, mediocre to poor service, orders taken on iPad. Food was ok but not what it once was. Lots of chips in buckets. I won’t go into the minutia of the meal but overall disappointed. Very sad.
