Lucy provided the catering following our mother's funeral. We were not only impressed by the standard of the food she provided, which was both delicious and fresh, but also her attention to detail and the thoughtful guidance and suggestions she made to make the occasion go smoothly. She also helped with serving refreshments and washed up afterwards which was all an immense help, leaving us free to share time with family and friends.

This Restaurant is a wonderful place if you want great food and more. I cannot recommend enough for its friendly staff nothing is too much trouble and everything is always cooked to perfection. We wish you luck in your next adventure. Worcester is really going to miss you.

We had our office Christmas lunch here and it was absolutely perfect. All 3 courses were delicious across everyone's various orders, and the staff and service were great too - thanks for looking after us, already have quite a few people who are looking to revisit very soon!

Wow what a great dog friendly pub with fantastic drinks and food. Our local dog group went to Worcester for a walk and a bit of lunch with the 4 dogs, Murphy, Digby , Monty and Luna. The staff in the pub made us all feel most welcome and provided the dogs with water as well as serving us a variety of drinks. We had a variety of pies and one fish and chips which were delicious. The pub itself is dripping with history but maintains a very warm and comfortable welcome we all would totally recommend everyone to try this place.

Sunday carvery is superb. I love the way they organise going up to get the carvery. Other carveries should take note as they are usually a “bun fight”. The choice of meat and the huge selection of vegetables is second to none. If you can manage a dessert there is soft whippy ice cream amongst other things. It is extremely busy and I feel it works because these staff know what they are doing. Keep up the good work and staff training. It would be so easy to get it wrong.

Atmosphere was friendly enough, the cafe seemed busy and welcoming. The food, however, was absolutely DIABOLICAL. The worst of the 'not so goods'. We ordered the main breakfast x 2 - the food was the cheapest edible items you can buy from the supermarket (or similar), you can live on it, I guess... But the reason I wouldn't eat mine was that it was almost dangerously UNDERCOOKED - fried eggs were runny and clear in the centre, sausages were floppy, luke warm and a strange colour, the grilled tomato was raw in the centre and cold. They also forgot items from the breakfast itself (the baked beans) so they had to be bought to us separately, and in the case of another customer next to us, he had to wait for them to be cooked up for him. I was asked if I'd like milk with my £3.50 mug of lemon and ginger tea, and they seemed to be a little unclear about table numbers. We have left with dodgy bellies, a distinct odour of grease all about our clothes and hair, and £22 lighter.

We travelled for 6hrs from Norfolk to Worcester. I booked an afternoon at tea at 4pm for our arrival. We arrived and were told it was closed. I said had booked. Questioned, if I booked on line and was told they hadn't a reservation. I said I had physically called. My booking was again denied. I opened my phone and gave the time and date I called. Well, was the reply, even you did book, the kitchen is closed. UTTERLY UNIMPRESSED!!!!

Good large space with plenty of room at the bar. PLenty of chpice on the keg taps. Went here as part of Worcester Music Festival (they were acting as one of the venues) so visited several times over the weekend. Good atmosphere.
