The best restaurants serving British food in Clun Shropshire West Midlands

We always love the food, reasonable prices and good service, but the Maltings is currently closed. So my advice is to check before going.

New chef and the food was brilliant, very good fish cakes followed by short ribs and the puds were lovely too. Small menu but I quite like that. Front of house very friendly.

We had a fantastic family meal for 10 of us! We had travelled from all over the country to get together, so massively appreciated being looked after so beautifully considering it was the busy period between Christmas and New Year. A Lovely varied pub menu, large portions, fairly priced, home cooked and an incredibly warm welcome by the Landlady. Thank you!

I rang hoping to enjoy an exceptional lunch. The owner told me that sadly her husband had died last year and as he was the famous chef she was no longer serving meals to non residents.

Featured in the Good Pub Guide and popped in for a pint whilst staying in the area. An unpretentious 15th century pub, doggy friendly and an excellent real ale from a choice of six. A local brew from the Three Tuns brewery in Bishops Castle. Friendly crew and punters.🇬🇧🇳🇿

We have eaten here many times, but our last visit was EXCEPTIONAL. The wonderful people working there treated us like royalty from start to finish. The seats and tables are incredibly clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to come back!!!!!

We had a great lunch here. The atmosphere and service was friendly, welcoming and relaxing. The local beer was outstanding and the food very nicely cooked, delicious and good value. There were plenty of options of where to sit and our dog was also made to feel at home. Shame we were driving or we would happily whiled away the hours here forgetting time and troubles! Hope to return again soon.
