Had the burger. Nice chunky chips. The patty had an odd texture and not much flavour, supermarket Aberdeen Angus burgers have more flavour and juicier. Uninspiring Lettuce leaf and heap of onion relish was disappointing. I liked the decor and Butty Bach is a decent pint. Also really good service. Could be better, needs better ingredients and a little panache.

This is a fantastic pub with excellent owners...the pints are great and priced well. This is my local and favorite pub as it is a very calm environment. They do have excellent music events on which I have attended. From a range of acoustic nights to DNB. They have also just started Sunday roasts 12-4pm. Myself and my friends had a big roast and it was FANTASTIC! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! 😁

Got a medium Donna and chips that was correct but then ordered a large chicken nuggets and chips (should be 10 nuggets) I got 5 nuggets and then I orders the large onion rings which I think was 10 and only got 5 whole rings one half a ring! Service was mid and the food was mediocre. Not the best place to go.

Pleasant and efficient service. Good value food with plenty of variety on the menu and a well stocked bar. Also dog friendly.

Had the carvery, it was nice, but unfortunately no cauliflower cheese left which for us is a must with a roast. Staff were nice but not very organised, seems to lack a good figure head, for instance a table full of glasses were just walked passed a number of times. On leaving a staff member cutting the meat was stood outside puffing on a cigarette not nice to see, at least smoke in a discreet location .

Popped in for breakfast and was really disappointed when the breakfast arrived. If they had used smaller plates it wouldn’t have looked like a child’s meal. The only saving grace was the chipolata sausage tasted nice. The egg was overcooked and the half a mushroom was laughable. Not sure £9 is justifiable for this plus £2.30 for a small mug of tea. Sadly I won’t be returning

A long wait for drinks, seemed short of staff, food not as good as other wetherspoons, jacket potato served with no butter, all meat on the mixed grill overdone
