Lovely little hotel, the bed was very comfy. We stayed in the family room. Cot was provided and a double pull out sofa bed for other child. We checked in after a long day at Longleat safari and it was so nice to enter a room that was comftable, clean and felt homely. Lovely little finishing touches like chocolates on the bed and mini fridge with waters and orange juice. Breakfast was so much better than what I was expecting. Would love to stay again, really recommend

Went for a luch time treat with my grandparents on Saturday and wanted a proper dinner. I went for fish, chips and peas. They were the best chips ever and the fish was really nice as I have recently discovered that I like fish. Because I ate all (which never happens) I was allowed an ice cream sundae 🍨 to follow. Love Frankie age 6.

Really sorry this is not the correct review for this pub. I actually had a great roast dinner here, great value for money, generous portions, decent ambiance and 100% shall return.... My apologies for mixing my places up.....

It’s rare I have a roast dinner when I’m out for Sunday lunch. Too often they disappoint and I’m left wondering what makes my mums or wife’s so much better. No here though. I’ve been twice, and between us my wife and I have tried four different meats. All have been full of flavour, tender and generously portioned. Great spuds, massive yorkshires and rich, tasty gravy too. Proper comfort food, I’d challenge anyone to leave unsatiated. The pub itself is cosy and unpretentious and run very efficiently by a polite, friendly and welcoming team of staff. Having ticked off the beef, pork belly, chicken and venison we’ll be back soon to get the lamb and nut roast and collect the set!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an exceptional Sunday roast at The Three Horseshoes in Chapmanslade. The roast pork and roast lamb were truly outstanding, cooked to perfection. Each bite was a delight, with flavours that were both rich and comforting. A huge compliment to James, the head chef, for the remarkable culinary experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, adding to a perfect dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a top-notch Sunday roast!

Arrived on 18th January 2025 as I heard good things about this pub. We went to a huge pub, and a member of staff did greet us and advised they would be with you shortly. They weren't over busy, but we were advised that they hadn't got any tables but could see there was! We were offered a pub table with stools, but my elderly mother wouldn't have been able to get up on them. Won't return.
