The best restaurants serving British food in Weymouth East Weymouth and Portland South West

This is now my favourite cafe in Weymouth. Unbeatable location, cheerful and relaxed atmosphere and super staff. My friend and I perched on a table next to the sea and enjoyed fresh crab sandwiches and a generous portion of the crispiest fries.

Amazing friendly service really enjoyed our visit - the quality of the food is hands down the best lunch and / or cake this side of the harbour all fresh and homemade much better than any big chain pubs nearby! And I have been converted 47 years old and always refused to try bread pudding!!! But I have now, and I can safely say Paula's bread pudding is the bestest bread pudding I have had in my life !! Will defo be back for more soon Thanks guys

I take black coffee and as it’s always a bit strong for me I ask for extra hot water The owner wanted to charge me for the extra hot water really? Shame as I’m local but won’t be returning

This lovely little cafe in the heart of weymouth. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful the restaurant is spotless clean and the menu has everything you could possibly want at very reasonable prices

Went for a meal and was told it could be up to 2 hour wait. We chose to wait but received nothing. We went to check on what was happening to be told service was over. The staff claimed they had tried to find us but the electronic buzzer never went off. We were given a refund but the attitude of the staff was far from apologetic and tbh was rude and surly. The couldn't spell customer service let alone deliver it. Dreadful

Was recommended by a family member. Nothing special. Fish and chips like anywhere else, paid £77 for a family of 5. Very pricey.

Ordered 4 meals but only 3 were served, they placed one order on someone else's table.asked for single short but double was served. When I stated I was not happy with service, I was told to calm down, we're busy mistakes happen. But they were not busy when we arrived, ordered our meals & drinks. I thought the landlords attitude was poor & not that apologetic

Right by the harbour, lovely bar staff. Definitely will visit again.
