Excellent food, well presented, great choice and friendly service! Also a very pretty/attractive cafe 😍. Will be our favourite eaterie in Chagford !

Rude owner. Often looks at me like dirt. Went in with a friend recently and they said the same even though their son knew hers at school over many years. So that's the final straw - she clearly decides and judges whether people are worthy of her shop and she has decided some of us are not. Won't be going in anymore. Terrible for a successful local business to treat people like this.

Best pub food I've had in a long time! Lovely relaxing atmosphere and delicious food. What more could you want. I came her with my siblings after a recommendation from my sister who had a been a few weeks prior and highly rated it. We had a three course meal which did not disappoint! Started with the beetroot and goats cheese which tasted fresh and delicious. Then the beef shin pie which looked on the smaller side but it was packed with flavour and actually more than enough. The chocolate delice pudding was to die for! Full of flavour and chocolate yum! The sugary pecans were a bonus. The presentation of the food was that out of masterchef which made the food even more delectable. If you're a foody I'd highly recommend eating here. The price is slightly higher but they use local ingredients which is cooked to the highest standard, so happy to pay a bit more for quality produce. I'll live locally so will definitely be back soon. Thanks for a lovely evening.

An excellent small, friendly pub, much frequented by locals. Please note there is no food available other than a range of crisps etc.

Very ordinary food and very poor service.

Friendly local pub with darts and regulars and good service. There are not many tables for eating at but we were comfortable there. I had liver and bacon with mash and vegetables and wife had steak and ale pie with vegetables and nice chips. The food was good. With a soft drink and a good pint the bill came to £35.00.
