The best restaurants serving British food in Preston Torbay South West

Went here as couldn't be bothered to wait in the london fryer queue. What a mistake that was, the fish and chips was vile. The 'large' fish was a disgrace and the chips tasted like they were recooked from the previous days leftovers. They were dry and tasted awful. Anyone who thinks about avoiding the queue 150yards away, don't. This place was good years ago but is now dire and up there with the worst chippys i've had food from.

In Devon on holiday, called in for breakfast . Was spotlessly clean and our breakfast was lovely, the gentleman serving was very cheerful and pleasant. Lovely cafe.

Food is always solid here but any place that is charging £1.75 to add cheese to chips is just ripping the customer off.

Stayed here for a week with the family. It was ok, the room was a good size, the decor was great. Prices were absolutely amazing, specially knowing it is a seaside town, and a silver service restaurant.

2nd and last time, seagulls enjoyed my chips, never again. how can you make a chip so horrible. please dont even try this place.

Very friendly good beer and plenty of food

Had breakfast here there were three of us the food was okay but I do find it odd when cafés cannot offer skinny milk and having worked in hospitality I know how easy it is to just change a milkyet we could not have skinny milk. It’s just pathetic in this day and age. I saw that they had other types of milk there like soya but not skinny. I do think this is rubbish. Luckily this cafe is not in America because they would slam it. Having said that the coffee was actually nice I had a latte with extra shot it’s just lame on their behalf that I was not able to have skinny milk and nor was my sister.
