The best restaurants serving British food in Plympton St Mary Plymouth South West

Not the best Michelin star restaurant visited. Had the set menu and wine flight. Food OK but very small portions. Steak the size of a matchbox and served 2 people! Service seemed unprofessional. Apparently Puglia wine comes from Spain as described by the waitress serving the wine flight. The cheese board arrived but no knowledge of what the cheeses were and certainly no idea as to how to cut and serve cheese

Fui a comer algo con mi esposa, la encantadora dama sudafricana que dirige este lugar con su ayudante estadounidense (lo siento, no captó sus nombres) es realmente amable y servicial. Pedimos sándwich tostado y panini que ambos sabían muy bien, también estaba impresionado con la tarta de queso y café. Vale la pena señalar que hay eventos especiales organizados por el propietario y también contratan este lugar. Día de la Madre, por ejemplo. Vale la pena el viaje especialmente para el pastel de queso.

Great food, friendly service. Katie was a very polite and professional server. Value for money. Very little waiting time for our food. Great choice on the salad bar. Very clean.

Came here for some food and coffees. The only thing that was nice was the drinks. The bread on our hotdogs, burger and sandwich was dry and chips didn't look cooked enough. My dad asked for a bacon baguette which they don't do even though they had bacon and baguettes. Won't be eating there again.

After looking forward to afternoon tea at this hotel I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Although in a beautiful setting the afternoon tea was disappointing, Luke warm tea, poor sandwich’s and no staff around. We spent half an hour waiting for staff to attend once we were seated then waited again for the tea etc. Not something I expected from this hotel. Staff service was extremely poor and the whole occasion lacked atmosphere. I would not recommend this experience for the price it cost.

Can't remember. Went to bottomless brunch next door in olive and twist which was brilliant

An odd spot to find a routine baker’s shop beside a busy suburban road close to an hectic little roundabout. Part of. Plymouths biggest remaining locally based chain of bakeries selling a lot of pasties, sticky buns, iced slices, cream doughnuts etc.

Fantastic looking products, great tasting and good prices. Very pleasant staff and service. As an ex-baker of forty years experience I say "well done".
