The best restaurants serving British food in Weston-super-Mare Central North Somerset South West

Prior to holidaying in Weston Super-mare, I looked for the popular places to visit, and this was one of them. I had a banana, chocolate & vanilla whippy and my husband had coconut ice cream - both doubles and both delicious - they were MASSIVE! Recommend you visit here as soon as you arrive because you’ll want to go back again and again!

Plenty to eat, friendly staff , cooked to perfection & well priced. Not far from town centre much better value than in town.

Not been to Papa's for a while before visiting lunch time today. Not too busy for a Thursday. The food is still excellent, served piping hot and in good time. We had the 'Seniors Special' which was a good sized piece of cod, plenty of chips and also included a buttered roll and hot drink. The prices are keen and the service is friendly and good. Recommended.

Service was horrendous, waitress not interested, no dialogue, overpriced, maianaise served in a refilled dirty Heinze bottle, definitely not filled with Heinze, £39 two meals and two drinks, overpriced, when we paid no conversation at all, definitely won't be going back, use to be very good a few years ago, must be new owners, avoid

Excellent Sunday roast dinner, good portion size and great value for money. Waiting staff very friendly and efficient, quick service. I would highly recommend this cafe

went to look for places the other day to have breakfast and saw this place. the food is so good and very kind young woman called nicola i think it was 10/10 will be coming back

There was a good choice on the and, talking to the owner, was told all dishes³ are homemade from scratch. My wife and I choose different items on the menu and they were good. The food was hot and well cooked. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely visit there again soon.

Great food and coffee. Excellent service from friendly staff. I go on my own but see couples, families and other solo people . A superb place for all to go to . Can’t recommend it highly enough.

It has everything you need good service great food lovely staff big fluffy dog to cuddle good in the day and at night I come here every day and never disappointed try it out for yourself

At first sight you may thing this is a greesy spoon with outdated suroundings BUT don't be fooled we ordered the breakfast which was amazing and tasted absolutely lovely and being served large mugs of coffee The lady owner and lady chef were very welcoming and very nice people and very helpful It's a proper old school cafe and we enjoyed our visit Well worth a visit you won't be disappointed

Had an excellent breakfast here this morning. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. Spotlessly clean and has great decor inside. I am also looking forward to trying the special nights planned. Fish and chips, wine and cheese and a traditional Christmas dinner nearer Christmas. My only moan and groan. I have lost count of the times I have passed these premises and never ventured in. But now I realise, I have been missing out on a little gem. And I'm happy to say, I will be visiting with monotonous regularity from now on.

Been here twice now and not been let down either time. The food is incredible and the service is top drawer. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone

Came here for college "take over" on a Tuesday night two weeks in a row... The food was so very delicious ! Students all amazing and a great variety on the menu both nights! Our whole table loved it! Thank you Weston College 🙂

Returned here after a lovely meal a few months ago. It was like a different restaurant. The Cod’s roe on my first visit was perfect so I ordered the same again. How disappointed I was. The batter was soggy and the cod roe was wet and had liquid coming out when I cut into it. The staff didn’t really know what to do when they asked if everything was alright with my meal. I said no and explained. Asked if I wanted anything else - I said no so he replied enjoy the rest of your meal! Expensive plate of chips! Won’t be returning. No offer to recook or a refund.
