These new premises are bright, clean and welcoming. The proprietor is charming, friendly and attentive. My friend had a wonderful omelette, chips and peas. I had jacket potato with cheese plus loads of salad (they'd run out of cole slaw). Lovely view of the town square and water feature through huge plate glass windows. Altogether very nice indeed.

The service is extremely welcoming, pleasant, accommodating & efficient. The food & drink is superb. Prices are very proportionate. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND. Thank you.

We have been here on a few occasions to see if it has got better, but alas it is often empty which is a pity as we would love to frequent the Oxford often. We will keep trying with fingers crossed.

Pop in here this morning for change as normally go somewhere else when in Weston-super-Mare, the prices not bad food was Cook well nice hot, the place clean which good as well. It nice that they took your order at table as well not many do that and after you got food bit time later did come over ask if all OK

We came here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at the improvement in these new premises on South Parade (near Lloyds Bank). My friend had omelette (it was so generous it must have been three eggs), plus chips and peas. I had Cheddar cheese panini (which was so thick with cheese I had to cut into it) plus salad and home-made crisps. The price was very reasonable especially considering the generous portions. We were very happy indeed! The new premises look out onto the Town Square with the fountains. And inside is nicely decorated. The toilets are pristine, which is always a bonus! Staff are friendly and charming! What more could you want???

ordered 2 meals , as the menu stated 2 x quarter sized burgers with chips and salad , we recieved a very thin over cooked burger with under cooked oily onions , no salad what so ever , when i complained to the obnoxious little man who was the owner , he was absolutely vile towards me , after around 10 minutes of argueing with him i finally got a refund , the food is grossly over priced and the place was almost empty 2 others were inside , if you use this cafe , you will be ripped off , horrible experience and falsely advertises his menu ,

So disappointed and such a shame ! Travelling down to Weston to visit friends we nipped in to the Oxford for a late dinner as we had been travelling !! Outside a board saying 2 meals for a Tenner so we thought great ! Popped in ordered 2 pints and went to order the special to be told it finished a hour earlier !! No time was on the board and if that was the case bring the board in ! So because he had ordered and started our drinks we ordered 2 burgers off the menu £15.00 at point of ordering at no time did the staff inform us the the burger came with nothing !! No attempt to upsell chips etc and it came a lonely burger on a large wooden server ! The burger was homemade and very nice but our experience was tainted by lack of information !! The staff were friendly but shame that we were not fully informed ! Very tasty but not enough for £7.50 each !!

New location in Weston welcome change from standard tourist cafe. Friendly staff and great puro coffee (not so aggressive as some popular brands)....recomended

Surprised . This was a alast minute find. There were 6 adults and a a 1 year old. We had a a fabulous meal we expected the usual pub food. Not so it was far beyond that, will go again in an instant if they keep this standard of food up. Disappointed in the drinks though , cheap brands used ,you can taste the difference.

Called in for a pint as one does and was treated with total content from a guy called Simon who I now ne'er stand is the manager.

My wife and I popped in for a drink and a meal today, but the youth who was tendering the bar just wasn't interested in serving us, all he was interested in was his mobile, other patrons looked at us with raised eyebrows as we looked embarrassed. We walked out and the barman probably didn't even know we were trying to get his attention.

Had an absolutely brilliant full English breakfast. Too many chain places that are cheap, churn out half cooked crud, this was proper! 2 x sausage, 2 x bacon, beans, grilled toms, egg, hash brown. fresh mushrooms & a fried slice, cleaned my plate!

I had a panini, other half had beef ploughman's (came with a little glass of cider. Both well presented, good salad with my sandwich, lovely friendly staff. I was so pleased to see this place reopened after it had been boarded up so long. Modern, relaxing, light & airy decor, big windows, but also cosy corners if you wanted that. Looks great, food was great. Would definitely go back for coffee and cake, lunch again, or an evening meal.

My Mum and I had two meals here and they were both excellent. We had meals off both the specials board and the evening menu. The staff were very polite and helpful. Although this is a pub it wasn't at all noisy. Lovely atmosphere.

food and staff fab,the roast is a must lots of it ,very well cooked,docent look much from the out side but give it a go

Family run and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was all freshly cooked and excellent. Miss it miss out!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Massive portions all home cooked and really good value. Café looks dated but clean and definitely worth a visit.

Always good food here, Close to seafront. Friendly service. Plenty of indoor seating plus a few outside. Great for Breakfast, Dinner or Tea.

everybody should have the steak and kidney pie excellent the chips and great the plate was full, and the staff was very friendly

The food here is home made and at a good price. The staff are really friendly and have great knowledge of the area. Large food portion so you will never leave there hungry

We found this place by accident and wanted a sit down meal without the sand! Had a good menu choice and when food arrived the portions were very good, scampi I chose had lovely salad peas and chips with it. If anything portions could be a bit smaller as were over generous! Puddings were really good and big size again and really tasty,suggest you fast for the day before eating here!prices were really reasonable for all items and staff were very nice and friendly . Would definitely eat there again next time in weston and would recommend it for good variety,quality and price

We went to Weston to see the Red Arrows yesterday, and wanted some chips for our lunch. There was a long queue outside of Winstons, but just over the road we spotted The Oxford, and went there instead. It's a small fish & chip takeaway, with a very friendly owner, who served us very generous portions. The chips were lovely, really hot, with plenty of salt & vinegar, and I would not hesitate to go there again. If you visit Weston, be sure to get your chips from here!
