Top marks here, staff very welcoming and well informed once asked for details about the menu and up coming events, the menu is well balanced and has something to suit everyone’s pallet, I ate a the plant bar plate which was delicious everything tasted fresh and well made. I really enjoyed it. We will be back

From ordering, collection and sat down enjoying a lovely roast diner within 25 mins. Easy to order via messenger, meals were being prepared on arrival and final decision on parsnips was agreed and home we went. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. A very homely atmosphere in this small but well laid out venue. The beef and turkey was excellent, great choice of vegetables (cauliflower cheese was really tasty), pigs in blankets, homemade stuffing, good roast potatoes and a very well made gravy. Well packaged with no leaks. Still hot and a decent plate size. Really worth a visit to eat in or takeaway and by no means expensive.

I choos the Cafe for the nviting green welcoming colour which was matched by the beaming smile from Kyle as we entered. Quality ingredients lovingly prepared our tasty food was delicious and oozed quality. We spoke with Kyle was explained where the ingredients were sourced. The black pudding & bacon were from the local butcher who was also a farmer! The Oat milk cappuccino I had was delicious. I had poached eggs the best smoked bacon along with the tastiest black pudding, again sourced from local butcher. A great trio of local eateries all supporting each other in the street. Martin & Kyle we’re proud of their establishment & this shone through in their warm welcoming approach to their customers. Would thoroughly recommend you eat here. We shall return, dogs welcome too.Thank you gents a wonderful experience.

Dropped in for a quick bite before going to cinema across the street. What a lovely surprise - We both had cocktail sausages with a honey mustard sauce and onion bhajis, freshly cooked and very tasty. Helpful service and a nice place, very clean. I'd love to go back there, and will next time I'm in Barnstaple.

I ordered online and while the delivery took a while, it was so worth the rate. Had the mini dipper and it’s was absolutely beautiful. I’ve had my fair share of takeaways and will now be coming back to here a lot. Food was amazing and have a really good variety comparing to other places. Was filling asf too. Amazing!!!

Was looking for a bite to eat And decided to try here. It was quite empty and lacked a bit of atmosphere. The menu was limited and I opted for the quiche with home-made coleslaw. It was okay and fairly priced but I don’t consider one teaspoonful of coleslaw to be worthy of calling it a side salad. Not sure if I will come back as it was very limited on the plus side I could hear myself speak to my colleague as it was so empty.

We always pop in here when we visit Barnstaple. Wimpy is a definite blast from the past for me. Always enjoy their half pounder and chips. Today we were served by Sam. Excellent customer service and helped my elderly mum make her food choice as she was confused with the menu. Thank you Sam, keep up the great work!

We enjoyed the 2.5 mile walk to this cafe from Woolacoombe. The facilities at Putsborough were terrific and if every beach resort were like this, well people would never want to go abroad 😀 There is a large car park with some changing rooms at one end and some very clean toilets at the far end. Access to the cafe is down some steps at one side or via a slope at the other. The cafe is also a shop and like an Aladdin’s cave. Kids would love browsing in here. There is a large menu which includes breakfast baps, various sandwiches, burgers and other stuff but we enjoyed the nachos with chilli and accompanied by salsa, guacamole and soured cream. A big plateful for £12. The coffee was fine but nothing to write home about. Big shout out to the old boy who was serving. I suspected he might be a volunteer but he was friendly, efficient and polite.
