Spending 4 nights in the area with my husband and son. We booked dinner t the New Inn for our 1st evening. It was so good we came on our last night too! Justin and Julia were extremely welcoming and it was difficult to choose from the varied menu. Absolutely delicious, fresh home cooked food and large portions. Starters, mains and desserts all amazing. Booking advised.

This was our sixth visit and the food and service were spot on as they always are. We had beef and pork which were lovely, with the best roasties and veg around, followed by Martin's delicious pavlova. We don't get here often but last year we had our wedding reception here, we came back two days later to eat and then again on our first anniversary. I think that says it all.

If your in North Devon, put this on your 'to do' list... Lovely cafe/Tea rooms in Croyde, great service. Enjoyed the cream tea scones and the cream cheese and pickle savoury scones. A wonderfully quaint old English tea room run by equally wonderful staff. Perfect food on a lovely sunny Sunday -thankyou!

Visited today with my family, could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Attentive, accommodating and friendly staff. Ensured the 4 of us could sit together once another group had finished - making it much easier to keep an eye on our two little boys. Offered an easy alternative of baked beans on toast (though neither of our boys like that - think they're the only kids that don't!), but felt assured could ask for a very slight amendment to the sandwich offering for my eldest (6), we ordered our youngest (4) jam on toast which came with a selection of 4 jams! Exceeded expectations all round, expecting a loaf sized piece of lemon drizzle, when lemon cake was offered, instead it was a three layer lemon cake that was delicious, everything was really reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend without hesitation and I don't know for sure, but it sounds like they provide some level of takeaway too, if you're looking for picnic bits. Thank you

Path up from Lymouth central car park (free after 6pm) is steep but steps are well lit. Ring the bell for entry! Only a few tables available to cover hotel guests and non-residents, so be sure to book. Food must be pre ordered, but is then timed beautifully. Staff could not be more helpful. Whole atmosphere is so different to some modern sea-side facilities, we appreciated the care taken and interesting decor (local pottery figues, wall of interesting mirrors). But access may be a problem to some.

Love this little place and always visit when staying at Newberry Valley campsite. Ordered coffee and hot chocolate to take away up to seating round the corner so we could look out over the sea. The rich gluten free chocolate cake is thoroughly deserving of its award. So many tasty sauces etc in bottles for sale too. Always gets visited promptly whenever I’m in Combe Martin

The food is incredible here! Had a gorgeous brunch burrito and pancakes. Really friendly staff. We didn't do any crafts but will definitely come back in the future!

Excellent food, very imaginative, tasty and colourful. We had a small portion of savoury waffles (sweet potato), one with avocado, tahini, cumin and lime juice, the other with hummus, black beans and jalapeños. And kombucha to drink. This was our second visit and won’t be the last. Thank you for a memorable lunch.

From ordering, collection and sat down enjoying a lovely roast diner within 25 mins. Easy to order via messenger, meals were being prepared on arrival and final decision on parsnips was agreed and home we went. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. A very homely atmosphere in this small but well laid out venue. The beef and turkey was excellent, great choice of vegetables (cauliflower cheese was really tasty), pigs in blankets, homemade stuffing, good roast potatoes and a very well made gravy. Well packaged with no leaks. Still hot and a decent plate size. Really worth a visit to eat in or takeaway and by no means expensive.

Visited on the August bank holiday . Wasn't sure what to expect as I have never been on a wine tour in the UK . It was really interesting and informative and the Vineyard is obviously a passion project . After spending some time learning about the vines we were treated to tasting of 3 lovely wines and a delicious champagne. Overall nearly 2 hours of really good fun . Suitable for my dog too. Highly recommend
