Absolutely fantastic. We were given an afternoon tea for a present and Caffyns Farm was the closest for us in Plymouth. The food was amazing, and very generous portions too, we came home with a doggy bag. There's a lovely warm & welcoming atmosphere, all the staff were absolutely lovely and it's very clean and tidy. Only criticism is that the toilets are upstairs (i walk with crutches). They also offer camping facilities and horse riding, not to mention feeding the goats in Goat Cafe lol while admiring the gorgeous views. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere nice, chilled and peaceful. Was well worth the 2 hour drive. Will definitely be going back in the future 😊😊

We absolutely loved visiting this charming place. We had both our dogs with us who loved it as much as we did. The cafe was lovely and the coffee’s delicious (we didn’t have any food). The setting is stunning and we loved going and seeing all the animals (in particular feeding the gorgeous friendly goats). Staff were so nice as well. We spied some camping facilities too so we’ll definitely be back to stay! Highly recommend!

Incredible place with super friendly staff, great food, great cider, lots of animals, a goat cafe which was amazing, and looked like really good camping facilities too.

Excellent value and well cooked meals and dessets. We stayed in their on site B&B accomodation. During our two night stay between my wife and I we had Fish Bouillabaisse, Steak and Kidney Pudding, irish stew, and Sampi & Chips. Deserts included Spotted Dick sponge pudding and custard, Syrup Pudding and icr cream. The breakfasts were brilliant. Service very friendly. Good value evening drinks including their on site home made cider. It is also a lovely spot for morning and afternoon tea / coffees. The sell pasties, susage rolls, pies, cakes ...., and also have a lunch menu. Thoroughly recommend

Caffyns Farm. Was given a Find me a gift for an afternoon tea. Was not disappointed we were served a proper farm house afternoon tea lovely sandwiches, lashings of cream and jam followed by a wonderful selection of delicious cakes. The tea pot had four tea bags giving plenty of hot tea. Lovely views from the farm over the Bristol Channel. Will be going back asap.

Looking for a place that serves good down-to-earth food at an affordable price (not easy on Exmoor it turns out!) - we were delighted to find this place. The Barn Restaurant is part of Caffyns Farm (camping holidays) but also open to visitors. It is slightly off the beaten track but our satnav didn't let us down! What a great location with a beautiful view over the sea, plenty of seating in a refurbished barn and with outdoor seating in the garden too. Breakfasts include everything from porridge or cereal to a full cooked breakfast, Light Bites (lunch) include jacket potatoes, paninis, Ploughmans etc. There are a great selection of starters (eg whitebait, meze, soup) main courses (eg macaroni cheese, Irish stew, pasties, various pies) and desserts (eg bread & butter pudding, cheeseboard) for dinner. Childrens menu also available. There are a selection of drinks available, including home-produced cider! As a family of four adults we enjoyed a Sharing Baked Camembert to start which was absolutely delicious, We followed this with a Welsh Rarebit With Tomatoes, the Hearty Pasty Special, an Irish Stew (accompanied with chunks of crusty bread) and a pasta dish. And all followed by an Cider Icecream Float! All the dishes offered generous portions, were beautifully presented, extremely tasty and very well priced. Service was welcoming and very friendly. Our only regret was that, having found this place rather late in our holiday, we didn't have another opportunity to return but would definitely make a point of doing so on another occasion.
