The food is incredible here! Had a gorgeous brunch burrito and pancakes. Really friendly staff. We didn't do any crafts but will definitely come back in the future!

I took my son to Avo Craft Cafe today and he absolutely loved it! In the words of my seven year old "it is so amazing". From not wanting to go out to spending three hours at the cafe enjoying arts and crafts made for a happy child who can't wait to return. Fab food with plenty of choice, and at a very reasonable cost. Also, a helpful and friendly owner who creates a fun and relaxed environment. Overall a lovely afternoon!!

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with warmth, fun and cheeky banter. It was so my kind of place. The staff could not have been more fun and friendly and when asked what they recommended, they were super helpful and knowledgable. I chose the freshly baked 'Savoury Cream Tea' and it was everything I was promised...a fluffy, 'straight-out-of-the-oven' cheese scone, soft cheese and chutney combo melted in my mouth, I really should have bought another as the prices were also very reasonable, especially with the quality provided. When I visit my friends again in the future I hope we go back there again. Thank you for making this London-based Kiwi girl feel so at home. I cannot recommend this fun, craft-style cafe enough.

Visited today with my family, could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Attentive, accommodating and friendly staff. Ensured the 4 of us could sit together once another group had finished - making it much easier to keep an eye on our two little boys. Offered an easy alternative of baked beans on toast (though neither of our boys like that - think they're the only kids that don't!), but felt assured could ask for a very slight amendment to the sandwich offering for my eldest (6), we ordered our youngest (4) jam on toast which came with a selection of 4 jams! Exceeded expectations all round, expecting a loaf sized piece of lemon drizzle, when lemon cake was offered, instead it was a three layer lemon cake that was delicious, everything was really reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend without hesitation and I don't know for sure, but it sounds like they provide some level of takeaway too, if you're looking for picnic bits. Thank you

The best dining out experience you can have. Food fabulous, whatever you choose. Sunday lunch is so good, you need a big appetite. Liam and his team give an excellent service. Definitely the best restaurant in North Devon.

We had a lovely dinner. Well presented, tastes were lovely and careful thought had gone into the dishes with local and seasonal ingredients. I would like to have bought some of the art but the one we liked had already sold and the others were out of my price range. 😅 The rest of the building is also interesting with a range of film memorabilia.
