Our server Macey was a delight, always smiling, very attentive, efficient, the food as always was fantastic, 100% recommend Banoffee Trifle....

Had a lovely time here with friends,the staff where excellent and attentive. The food was delicious,I had the sea bass and can say it was the best I've tried.shout out to Jenna and Aimee.

Truly sad to hear this pub is closing. The food, service and atmosphere was always superb and I hope it re-opens as a pub again in the future.

Thank you for such a lovely Valentine’s dinner. The food was amazing. Started with a glass of champagne which is always nice, a selection of warm breads and salmon starter, belly pork was to die for and Stilton with fruit cake. Lovely restaurant with really friendly staff especially Farren. We will definitely be back. Excellent, thank you.

HYGIENE ALERT: one of the members of Subway staff today (Asian male) used the toilet in the shop and did not wash their hands afterwards (flushed and exited straight away, wash basin was dry, did not hear dryer through the door).

As a group of friends we went for the festive lunch menu, had an individual table in a characterful brick area. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted great The service at the the table was also good The only downsides were that the area we were in was cold and when we went to book and arrived the reception welcome was not inviting . The way of paying was a bit convoluted However we will go back as the food and presentation was excellent

Visited yesterday with family.Very busy as had a Christmas event going on . Waited awhile in queue and for our food but the Macaroni was delicious and the cakes were too. Just need more staff to clear tables and serve.

Went to Hilliers for lunch there was a very poor selection of food stating that they didn't get there supplies! Wouldn't it be wise to order then ! Since Hilliers has taken over its really go e down Hill
