Subway in West Berkshire

HYGIENE ALERT: one of the members of Subway staff today (Asian male) used the toilet in the shop and did not wash their hands afterwards (flushed and exited straight away, wash basin was dry, did not hear dryer through the door).

Awful awful staff bar one fella who runs the place and if he’s not there, pray, as the other full time lady will basically punch your sandwich and the rest act like the salad comes out of there wages when there not doing there best to be as rude and incompetent as possible.

The foreign guy behind the counter is rude no patience for kids dont bother yourself cheaper to get something from lidl or sainsbury down the road

Asked 3 times for nachos said he doesn't sell them yet every other subways does , guy has attitude when asked a question

Asked for chicken pizziola which is really basic and he through a full grown adult tantrum and when I got home I realised he didn’t put anything other than ham and cheese in it 🤡 not even any chicken! £26 on 3 subs and all 3 wrong 🤦🏻‍♀️

Subway is always good... The menu is getting longer though so make sure you know what you want haha Was recommended to go for the Monterey Jack cheese and can't not have it on my footlong sub... My wallet would be happier though ha

Don't get the lady to make your sandwich, she's the sloppiest sandwich artist I've ever come across. The manager is great though. He needs to let her know to take her time a bit more so that her sandwiches don't look like mini explosions. Been here 10+ times and it's always the same pattern. She probably just needs some gentle reminding is all.

Says online your open Sunday at 8am……. Drive all the way here and your closed!!!!!! Annoying to say the least

During a visit a colleague and myself stopped off at subway for lunch, the young man serving behind the counter was very helpful and extremely polite. The food was average for subway after all it’s only a sandwich. I would return if I was in the area again and I would not complain. There are certainly far worse places out there to eat, and subway on this occasion satisfied my appetite.

Turned away today for someone in our group having a guide dog. The managers reason was that it is still a pet. After us refusing to leave and insisting on them still serving us, they became very abrupt and rude. Will not be returning again anytime soon, even though I do like a good subway!

Worst subway I have ever been to. Thay don't put in the fillings you pay for.

Very few places in Tadley to get food, so a nice Subway is always welcome

I Work at A.W.E nearby and this is my lunch go to for a Italian BMT always delivers a wonderful lunch.

Service was great and so was my SUB.

Used to visit this subway whenever I got fuel as it's in a petrol station, last week I walk in and the manager explains my last card payment was declined and he didn't realise at the time. I repaid the £9 for that transaction as well as the same for my meal - checked online banking that evening, the transaction had gone through so I paid £18 for a sandwich, thanks for that. Consider me no longer a regular. I fill up every two weeks, hope the £9 extra profit was worth the £225 lost revenue per year.

Asked if there was any fresh lettuce for my salad as it was brown and slimy looking to be told that's all they had. Slimy cucumber and tomatoes looked old. I get you don't want to throw stuff away that's good but it was rotten food and it was still being put into subs. So I didn't bother ordering . God knows if they don't care about salad being fresh do they care about meat being off?

Unfortunately went for meatless meatballs which they didn't have on the day they came out despite posters everywhere for it which was disappointing. But somewhat made up for as I had the vegan patty and it was bang on

Service quick staff nice food was very good

I didn't visit Subway and wouldn't buy their inferior products

after missing breakfast and lunch, it filled the void, handy for those days when you don't have enough time. tastes good too.

Had the steak and cheese sub, for the price there was not enough meat and it was small. Compered to the USA we are getting short changed in the UK.

I stop here on those mornings you need an extra boost before work and I have to say that the gentleman who serves me is lovely. He always knows remembers which sub it is I have and is always so fast and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Visited while filling up. Decent meatball mariana full salad crisps and a drink 5.70 very expensive compared my my local in blackpool but shows the north south divide. Would go again

Subway located inside petrol station near the roundabout on the way to Reading/Basingstoke. Has a friendly and witty staff, I had laughter there couple times. For warmer days there are 2 picnic tables outside so you can sit down in the open. Not very quiet though as it's next to the busy road.

It's as good as any other Subway in a service station.

Not always the friendliest staff, but I've never had a problem getting what I wanted.

Tend to be a reasonable standard of Subway. Although if ordering a sandwich around 9am on weekend mornings the salad in it & the bread can occasionally be like it's a bit old . Also the tuna mayo can be very runny sometimes making a total soggy mess. They can also often be out of certain types of breads & very low on salad items.

Can get busy duringbthe week as its next to a large local employer and is a fairly small shop in a petrol station. But the food is spot on for a subway.

Very popular but the staff were very organized so I did not have to wait very long. There is a cashpoint at the garage there but Subway also accepts cards even for small orders.

Putting a Subway on route to work is wrong, it is costing a fortune how can you drive past without stopping to buy one
