The best restaurants serving British food in Elstead and Thursley Waverley South East

Delightful cafe serving delicious food with a good menu and amazing cakes. Everything was well presented and homemade. It's a quaint little cafe and really pretty. Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back.

What a find this was, such a lovely place, food excellent, service brilliant. A beautiful setting. This was the perfect place to begin our day out.

Great menu lovely carvery and dessert trolley to die for x

Really need to have something to offer coeliacs. Had to settle for a steak sandwich with no bread which was all the waitress could recommend. The beef salad could surely be made gluten free at least? It’s our local pub so would very much like to be able to bring coeliac family members without them feeling left out.

The hotel is located right by the Devils Punch Bowl area which is perfect. It’s a rural location without many amenities locally. The hotel is a little tired looking but functional. My only concern is the restaurant is very over priced. The food itself is awful and in my opinion very poor. I stayed for two days and drove out to Guildford for dinner as I refused to pay the prices at the hotel for such poor quality.

The staff here were welcoming and kind. We had Imogen serving us and she was really helpful when it came to my dietary requirements. She was also friendly and professional. The food was delicious, and the location of the pub is great. The views outside are beautiful.
